Innovative Application Of PTFE Coated Silk In Business Clothing Design

Silk fabrics are elegant and romantic,with high historical value and cultural connotation.However,with the rapid acceleration of lifestyles and diversified lifestyles today,traditional silk fabrics have been unable to meet the growing demand for people's consumption,so that the production and sales of traditional silk fabrics have weakened.Therefore,the urgent need for innovative applications of traditional silk fabrics needs to be solved urgently.This study attempts to composite silk(silk crepe satin)and PTFE(polytetrafluoroethylene)clothing films by lamination process technology,while using the functions of polytetrafluoroethylene clothing films while retaining the highend gloss texture of silk fabrics.Properties such as wind resistance,moisture permeability,UV resistance,etc.,changing the performance parameters of silk fabrics,making it suitable for multiple occasions of business clothing.This subject research combines theory with practice and references market factors.The entire research process is the process of demand investigation—experiment—theoretical research—innovative design—feedback investigation.The demand survey conducted information collection and data analysis on people's consumption preferences,consumption demand,and improved expectations for silk business apparel.After that,the changes in the performance of the fabric before and after film covering were analyzed.Combining data analysis of demand investigation and analysis of experimental data,the film-covered silk is applied to the innovative design of business clothing,so that it can achieve the function of changing wear on multiple occasions.In the end,the research conducted a design feedback survey to understand consumer product feedback on such clothing,and verified the results of the entire study.
