Application Of Lean Six Sigma In Tobacco Quality Improvement Of K Cigarette Factory

In recent years,with the gradual slowdown in China's tobacco industry output and sales growth,competition within the industry has become increasingly fierce.Tobacco manufacturing companies can only adapt to changes in market demand by seeking new profitable growth products and deepening the potential of internal management,relying on reducing production costs and improving product quality to maintain their core competitiveness.Lean management and six sigma management have been successfully applied in many industries and enterprises around the world.By introducing Lean Management and Six Sigma Management,we can not only improve the quality of products and services,but also improve the internal operation efficiency and reduce the operating cost of enterprises.K Cigarette Factory introduced Lean Six Sigma Management method and concept on the basis of Total Quality Management(TQM)in 2010.This paper firstly studies the theoretical origins and current applications of Lean Management and Six Sigma Management.Secondly,the current situation of Lean Six Sigma Management in K Cigarette Factory is introduced.Using lean management,six sigma improvement(DMAIC),cigarette processing technology and other related theories,the quality of K cigarette factory's cutting is studied,and the main factors affecting the qualified rate of cutting width are analyzed and determined factors,and the main influencing factors were improved and controlled,to achieve the expected quality income and financial income eventually.Through the implementation of“cutting quality improvement case”,this paper studies the application of Lean Six Sigma Management in tobacco enterprise product quality improvement activities and verifies the effectiveness and practicability of Lean Six Sigma Management methods and concepts.
