Application And Study On The Shortcount Of Chewingum Of Lean&six Sigma Methodology In W Company

This paper aims to study the application of Lean six sigma to reduce the short count ofchewing gum.Lean and Six Sigma management is a more advanced concept of quality management,Lean Six Sigma is a combination of lean production and Six Sigma management, and itsessence is to eliminate waste. The purpose of the Lean Six Sigma management through theintegration of lean production and Six Sigma management, absorbing the advantages of thetwo modes of production to make up for the lack of a single mode of production. Lean andSix Sigma management applications enable enterprises to improve product quality, reducecosts, this paper firstly describes the concrete two management methods, and then combinesthe two methods’ advantage of Lean Six Sigma methods, the last is the practice.Through the application instance of the manufacturing industry by myself,apply the Leansix sigma methods to reduce the short count of bottled chewing gum. During the process ofimplementation of the project, follow the DMAIC steps, a large number of application ofLean tools and Six Sigma tools are used to define, conduct cause analysis, measure andeventually find a fundamental measures to solve the problem. I hope that the successfulimplementation of the project can be certain guiding significance for the application of LeanSix Sigma.
