In the process of open-pit coal yard,power plant,coal terminal,coal mine production and railway coal transportation in China,a large amount of dust often occurs.On the one hand,it will cause waste of natural resources and coal loss,on the other hand,it will also cause pollution to the surrounding environment.Moreover,floating dust will seriously affect the normal use of production equipment and reduce the service life.In view of this serious environmental pollution problem,in order to effectively reduce the dust concentration,a compound environmental dust suppressor was developed by modifying and synthesizing technology.Based on modification and synthesis technology,soybean protein isolate(SPI)was used as the main material and other auxiliary materials to prepare a composite environmental dust suppressor with strong adhesion and wettability to dust.After the product contacted with dust,a solidified layer with certain wind resistance and strength could be formed on the dust surface,which could effectively prevent the dust from spreading and not only improve the production ring.Habitat and ecological environment,and the organic combination of cohesiveness and wettability,has achieved good dust control effect.In the process of experiment,firstly,the process and mechanism of dust suppressant modification technology are studied,the prerequisite and experimental requirements for modification are understood,the parameters in the process of modification are studied,and the modification methods suitable for raw materials are selected.Then,the cohesion,wettability and consolidation properties of dust suppressant were studied by means of viscosity test,dynamic contact angle test and curing layer performance test.The optimum concentration of dust suppressant was explored through comprehensive analysis of experimental data and field experiments.Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)were used to characterize the products.The changes of functional groups in the products were analyzed by FTIR,and the micro-bonding state between dust and products was observed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM).Finally,the prepared dust suppressant was sprayed on the surface of pulverized coal,and the effects of five industrial indicators of coal ash(A),moisture(M),volatile(V),sulfur(S),calorific value(Q)were verified according to the national inspection standards.The experimental structure shows that the dust suppressant has good bonding property,and the viscosity of the dust suppressant solution has more than doubled compared with the soybean protein isolate solution;the dust suppressant has good water retention and wind erosion resistance,and forms a solidified layer with a certain compressive strength on the surface of coal dust.The maximum compressive strength of the dust suppressant reaches 0.48 Mpa at the concentration of 5%,which can resist wind erosion.The agent has good wettability,can quickly wet the surface of coal dust,reduce dust suppression time,and has little influence on coal quality through industrial analysis.
