Coke is an important raw material in the production process of metallurgical industry.It plays the role of material skeleton,carbon increasing agent,reducing agent and heating agent in blast furnace ironmaking.The sulfur content,ash content and strength of coke directly affect the quality of metallurgical products.This paper mainly describes the exploration and improvement of coal blending coking technology since Linhuan coking&Chemical was built.In the early stage,traditional coal blending technology was mainly used,that is,industrial analysis of coal quality and caking index were used to guide coal blending.During the period,in order to reduce the cost of coal blending,low-cost dust and coke powder produced in the production process were tried to replace lean coal to mix coal for coking,which ensured coke quality and achieved remarkable results in cost reduction and efficiency increase.With the application of coal petrology index deepening,blending technology has been improved.began to use coal petrology theory to guide coal blending.Combined with the small coke oven experiment,started to establish the industrial analysis,process analysis and coal petrography index database of common coal types.Combined with the common technical indicators of blended coal,the additive property of vitrinite reflectance of blended coal was used,According to the vitrinite data of single coal,the original blending scheme is optimized according to the ideal vitrinite distribution map,the corresponding single coal proportion or coal type is adjusted,the corresponding blending coal cost is calculated on the basis of ensuring the same coke quality,and the coal blending scheme with the lowest cost is selected for production.At the same time,the coal petrography analysis technology can effectively identify the mixed coal and ensure the quality of blended coal.In recent years,with the rapid development of computer technology and the development and application of coal and coke index automatic detection equipment,the experimental efficiency has been improved,and it is convenient to establish a large amount of database,thus forming the intelligent coal blending system software to intelligently predict the coke quality and optimize the coal blending scheme.In 2019,the coal blending team has established the foundation for the company's original database and coal blending technology On this basis,the influence of 32 parameters,such as coal ash composition,coal forming period and coal petrography composition,on coke quality was studied and quantitative analysis was carried out.By using multiple matrix method,the comprehensive intelligent optimization of coal blending scheme was realized.The results show that the coal blending technology of Linhuan coking Co.,Ltd.has reached the forefront of the industry and the production cost has been continuously reduced by using the all factor intelligent coal blending system Since 2012,coal blending cost has been reduced by 9 million yuan per year by using low-cost coke powder and dust ash produced in the production process instead of Shanxi lean coal or Linhuan lean coal at a ratio of no more than 1.Since 2016,the coal blending scheme has been optimized by using the results of coal petrography analysis,and the annual coal blending cost has been reduced by nearly 30 million yuan;in June 2019,the total factor intelligent coal blending system has been used to optimize the coal blending scheme,and the annual coal blending cost has been reduced by more than 50 million yuan.
