Taking a truck side panel as an example,the finite element simulation analysis and process parameters optimization were carried out to solve the problems of parts cracking and inadequate forming in the numerical simulation results,and to guide the die development and produce qualified stamping parts.Firstly,the part digital model is evaluated.In view of the characteristics of truck side panel and its role in the body,the characteristics of the parts are fully analyzed,the key parts are identified,the defects of the parts are predicted,and the stamping process route of truck side panel is determined based on the development experience of similar parts in the past.Secondly,the basic principle of drawing die surface design is discussed,and the overall idea of drawing die design for truck side girth is analyzed,and the drawing die surface is designed.Preliminary prediction of blank size,forming force,blank holder force and other process parameters was carried out.CAE simulation is carried out by using the mathematical model of drawing die surface,and the parameters are optimized.The optimal simulation results are obtained.Finally,the DL(Die layout)drawing is drawn up,which provides the basis for die design.Finally,grid test is carried out on the side panel parts in the debugging process of the production line,and the results show that the true plastic strain is basically consistent with the CAE analysis results,which proves that the stamping process is feasible.Combining with the debugging work of the die production line of the side panel,this paper discusses the defects and causes of the automobile outer panel in production,and puts forward the pertinent rectification plan,optimizes the die state,finally eliminates the defects and produces qualified parts.By using numerical simulation technology to simulate the stamping process of automobile stamping parts,the causes of quality defects can be analyzed quickly and effectively,and various process plans,process parameters adjustment and optimization improvement measures can be formulated according to the causes,which lays a foundation for stamping forming of automobile stamping parts.The design of die structure is optimized by referring to the simulation results,which fundamentally shortens the development cycle of the whole vehicle die.In addition,the precision of stamping parts and the quality of exterior surface are greatly improved,while the manufacturing cost of the whole vehicle and the manpower investment are reduced to the lowest level.
