For the automatic cleaning of castings,most experts and scholars have made certain breakthroughs in the research of regular,small,and light castings,but there are few studies on complex and heavy castings.This article focuses on the automatic cutting process of sand casting valve body riser.The valve weighs more than 300kg.The cutting accuracy of the riser is an important standard during the research process.Since this process is the roughing stage,it is necessary to remove as many risers as possible,and the company requires that the final riser height is not the same.More than 4mm is qualified.First of all,the position of the valve body is identified.The three-dimensional reconstruction commonly used in the market is not suitable for rough-surface sand-cast valve bodies,so this article chooses to find a virtual plane on the upper surface of the valve body.Several marking balls are placed on the valve body to form a virtual plane,which is realized by scanning and capturing by the infrared camera of the optical motion capture system.For the establishment of the virtual plane,three schemes are designed in this paper,and the test results show that the third scheme has the smallest error.Secondly,the error analysis of the valve body suspension offset.Because this project uses a suspended cutting plan,when the anti-chuck and the valve body are welded into a rigid body and then lifted,insufficient steel reinforcement will cause a certain amount of deformation,which will cause the valve body to deviate and cut later.Cause a greater impact.Therefore,the analysis is carried out for the deviation of the entire valve body caused by the deformation of the steel bar.The combination of theory and simulation proves that using 4 steel bars is better than 3 steel bars.Then,the valve body can be cut and positioned repeatedly.When the accumulative suspension conveyor transports the valve body to the processing position for cutting test,the high-speed jet from the cutting gun will cause the valve body to shake,so a positioning fixture needs to be designed to limit its shaking.Using SolidWorks to design and process the positioning fixture,through 20 clamping tests on the fixture,the result error is about 0.9mm.Finally,the automated flame cutting test is verified.The cutting program was entered into the robot to carry out the carbon steel and stainless steel valve body cutting tests.The test results showed that the cutting quality can meet the enterprise's requirements for valve body risers not larger than 4mm.
