In the process of project construction,many uncertain factors will lead to risks,which affect the smooth implementation of the project with different severities.As an important part of project management,project risk management can minimize the loss of project risk through the consumption of human,material and financial resources,can effectively ensuring the achievement of project objectives.Therefore,the study of project risk management has very important practical guiding significance for project organization to achieve project objectives.In this paper,the 2250 mm hot strip mill project of Zhanjiang Iron and Steel is taken as the research object,and the risk management theory is used to study it.Firstly,the concepts and connotations of risk,project risk and project risk management are briefly summarized.Four stages in the process of project risk management including risk identification,risk appraisal,risk response and risk control are discussed in turn.Meanwhile,the tools and methods of project risk management used in this paper are elaborated.Then,the project objectives and characteristics of Zhanjiang Iron and Steel 2250 mm hot strip mill project are studied.Through the analysis of project work decomposition structure,the project risk is identified by using brainstorming method and expert investigation method.On this basis,the reasonable analysis,evaluation and rating are carried out by using analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and other tools.Finally,it is concluded that the risk control of Zhanjiang Iron and Steel 2250 mm hot strip mill project should be strengthened from the aspects of quality risk,technical risk,cost risk,safety risk and time risk.Based on this,the risk factor classification table of 2250 Hot Rolling Project is established and corresponding countermeasures and control schemes are formulated.Through the research on risk management of Zhanjiang Iron and Steel 2250mm hot strip mill project,this paper adopts scientific methods to carry out effective risk identification,carry out accurate risk assessment,and establish effective countermeasures and control measures,so as to make the project carry out smoothly and achieve the predetermined objectives.The case study in this paper has a certain reference significance for the risk management of the hot rolling project of Zhanjiang Iron and Steel second-phase project and the same type of enterprises in the new hot strip mill project.
