Pure cotton spunlace non-woven fabric has the advantages of softness,good moisture absorption and air permeability,and low price.It is a good medical and sanitary product.Since the global public health event in 2020,people's awareness of health and hygiene has risen to a new level,and the demand for disposable hygiene products has increased rapidly.For medical and household cleaning and sanitation products,people are not only satisfied with the basic properties of softness and comfort,but also require certain antibacterial properties.Therefore,the development of pure cotton spunlace non-woven fabrics with antibacterial properties is of great practical value.This article selects the natural antibacterial agent forsythia oil,combined with microencapsulation technology,microencapsulates the forsythia oil,and then finishes it on the fabric by dipping to obtain a pure cotton spunlace nonwoven with antibacterial properties.Firstly,?-cyclodextrin was used as the wall material to encapsulate forsythia oil,and the effects of core-wall ratio,essential oil to ethanol ratio,encapsulation temperature,and encapsulation time on the encapsulation effciency,drug loading rate and yield of microcapsules were investigated.Then explore the best preparation process through orthogonal experiments.The optimal preparation process conditions of forsythia oil/?-cyclodextrin microcapsules are the core-to-wall ratio of 1:8,the inclusion temperature of40?,and the inclusion time of 2 h.Under these conditions,the encapsulation efficiency,drug loading rate and yield of forsythia oil/?-cyclodextrin microcapsules were 62.04%,10.01%,and 68.89%,respectively.In order to further improve the drug loading rate of the microcapsules,forsythia oil microcapsules were prepared by using the complex coacervation method with SA and HACC as wall materials.The effects of core-wall ratio,p H,time,and Ca Cl2concentration on the encapsulation efficiency,drug loading rate and yield of microcapsules were discussed.Then explore the best preparation process through orthogonal experiments.The optimal preparation process of the complex agglomeration method is as follows:core-wall ratio 1:1,p H 5.5,temperature 40?,and Ca Cl2concentration 5%.Under these conditions,the encapsulation efficiency,drug loading,and yield reached the best of 59.83%,27.04%,and 63.22%,respectively.The microcapsules prepared by two different methods were prepared into the finishing liquid.The proportions of the finishing solution A are 40 g/L of wet Forsythia oil/?-CD microcapsules,150 g/L of 2D resin,30 g/L of Mg Cl2,and 2.0 g/L of JFC penetrant.The proportions of the finishing solution B are 400 g/L of wet forsythia oil/SA/HACC microcapsules,150 g/L of 2D resin,30 g/L of Mg Cl2,and 2.0 g/L of JFC penetrant.The antibacterial test was carried out on the pure cotton spunlace non-woven fabric after the antibacterial microcapsule finishing.The inhibition zone test shows that the finished pure cotton spunlace non-woven fabric has a certain antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.The fabric after forsythia oil/SA/HACC microcapsule finishing has better antibacterial properties than the fabric finishing with forsythia oil/?-CD.And the antibacterial effect of Staphylococcus aureus is higher than that of Escherichia coli.The antibacterial properties of fabric sample after the forsythia oil/SA/HACC microcapsule finishing is tested by the shaking flask method.The experimental results show that the antibacterial rate against Staphylococcus aureus is 98.9%,and the antibacterial rate against Escherichia coli is 82.4%.In addition,the effect of microcapsule finishing on the air permeability,moisture permeability and whiteness of pure cotton spunlace non-woven fabrics is examined.The air permeability and moisture permeability of the microcapsules are reduced after finishing,and the impact on the whiteness is more obvious.The whiteness value of the original cloth sample is 72.87,the whiteness value of forsythia oil/?-CD microcapsule finishing is reduced to 64.63,the effect of forsythia oil/SA/HACC microcapsule finishing on the whiteness value It is even larger at 56.14.
