| Gears are widely used in aerospace,energy,automotive,marine,military equipment and other fields,whose quality of surface determined the service performance.There are a series of indicators of gear surface,such as roughness,hardness,and burn degree.In addition to material factors,the surface quality of the gear depends mainly on the gear’s machining process.Worm wheel grinding is one of the important methods of gear elaborate processing,it is often used as the end process,which directly determines the final quality of the gear.The worm wheel grinding of 20 CrMnTi gears are taken as the research objects,this article researchs the effects of processing parameters on the gear tooth surface roughness,hardness,and burn degree during the process of high-precision and hard tooth surface gear grinding.There are five main aspects:(1)The effects on service performance about roughness,grinding burn degree and hardness of gear tooth surface are analyzed.The machining parameters of involute hard-toothed surface gears for worm wheel grinding are clarified,which mainly include the linear speed (m / s)of the grinding wheel,the axial feed speed (mm / min)of the grinding wheel and the grinding depth(6(mm).(2)Based on the principle of machining involute gears by the development method,this paper analyses the method of grinding involute gears by worm wheel grinding.Based on the principle of worm wheel grinding of gears,the factors affecting the quality of the gears are analyzed,which provides a theoretical basis for further experimental research.(3)The uniform design test method is selected for the experimental design of the worm wheel grinding engine planet wheel.The materials and basic information of the test parts are clarified.The German KAPP NILES KX500 FLEX CNC gear grinding machine is used as the test machine.The roughness tester,acid test method,and Vickers hardness tester are used as testing equipment to carry out the grinding processing test.(4)The DPS data processing system is used for data analysis.A two-step stepwise regression method is used to establish a regression model of processing parameters of gear tooth surface roughness and gear tooth surface hardness.The validity of the model is verified by hypothesis testing.A binary logistic regression analysis is used to establish the probability model between gear tooth surface grinding burns and processing parameters,where the probability threshold of burns is obtained.(5)Taking the processing time,gear tooth surface roughness,and gear tooth surface hardness as the comprehensive optimization goals,and using a multi-objective non-dominated genetic algorithm NSGA-II based on Pareto dominance relationship,this paper gets the grinding parameters which can reduce the roughness of gear surface and improve production efficiency.In short,the grinding parameters provide a reference for the purpose of improving surface quality and processing efficiency. |
