The gear mechanism can transmit the movement and power between any two axes of the space,and has the advantages of high efficiency,accurate transmission ratio,stable transmission,etc.It has become the most widely used transmission mechanism,various mechanical watches used in daily life,and various kinds used in industry.Gear transmissions,gears used in aerospace engines,require gearing.With the continuous development of the manufacturing industry,the requirements for gear quality are getting higher and higher.Gear chamfering is a very important technological measure in modern gear processing.It has obvious reduction on reducing the damage caused by gear heat treatment such as hot cracking.Function,and the appropriate angular angle also greatly improves the transmission performance of the gearThe face tooth profile rotary chamfering processing technology is a new technology for inverting the chamfering of the tooth profile,which has the advantages of high precision,high efficiency and high economy.Currently,the technology is monopolized by foreign countries.There is a lack of Research in corresponding technologies and tools in China.In order to promote the engineering application of the end face profile chamfering chamfering technology,research and innovation in the theory and method of chamfering knife design are urgently needed.In the paper,the principle of chamfering of face tooth profile is studied in depth,and the forming process of chamfering surface is analyzed.The principle of chamfering of end face tooth profile is proposed: the blade sweeping surface approaches the chamfered surface.Same time,the influence of different processing parameters on the shape of the blade is analyzed,which lays a theoretical foundation for the tool design.In accordance with the chamfering principle,the overall design idea of the chamfering knife is proposed,and then the structural principles such as the rake angle,the sharpening of the precision and the non-interference of the flank are proposed.The cutting edge is constructed by selecting a curve on the initial blade sweep surface,and the rake face and the flank face are expressed by the plane and the free curve.Based on the above theoretical research results,the involute spur gear is taken as a typical part,and the tool design is carried out.The correctness of the tool design is verified by Vericut simulation example.The end face profile chamfering chamfering tool designed in this paper can realize the continuous indexing processing of the involute gear tooth profile chamfering,which significant improves the processing efficiency.The tool can be mounted on the reel cutter shaft,and the hobbing process and the end The profile and chamfering process are combined into one process,which saves auxiliary working hours.The realization and application of the rotary machining technology will improve the current status of the domestic cylindrical gear tooth profile chamfering processing and promote the advancement of the tooth profile chamfering technology.
