Lacquer is one of the most representative traditional cultural heritages in China.The application of lacquer in jewelry has a long history in China.With the return of traditional crafts to the public's attention,lacquer jewelry began to emerge in the domestic and foreign markets,causing people's attention.However,through some market surveys,we found that the lacquer jewelry in China's consumer market has serious homogenization,which is one of the reasons for the slow development of lacquer jewelry market.Therefore,the introduction of a set of practical methods to design and manufacture lacquer jewelry with modern aesthetic visual characteristic is helpful to broaden the living space of lacquer jewelry in the market.Genetic algorithm and parametric design methods have been widely used in modern design,such as architectural design,graphic design and other fields.It bases on the calculating ability of the computer within analysis and calculation of design parameters and goals to generate thousands of feasible schemes,and that is the solution of unique design problems under complex conditions,to save a mount of debugging and modification time,in order that designers can solve the most prominent problems with limited time and energy.Combining the widely-use of genetic algorithm with the inclusiveness of lacquer materials on design of bracelets,using genetic algorithm on expanding the modeling of lacquer bracelets will fully show the craft beauty,decoration beauty and cultural beauty of lacquer art.It is helpful to open up lacquer jewelry market,make the public contact and get familiar with lacquer art,with that to promote traditional lacquer art culture,inherit and develop traditional art by bringing new power and solution to the development of lacquer art.In this paper,through Rhinoceros series software and Grasshopper visual programming platform,the parameters of bracelet design and evaluation system are organically connected through Python function algorithm.Finally,using genetic algorithm,under the condition that the target evaluation value of the bracelet is maximized,in the recommended scheme and alternative scheme generated by the system,the design scheme conforming to the design objective and market aesthetic is selected,and the design parameters of the bracelet are obtained,based on which the lacquer bracelet and other jewelry are made.t.The practice shows that the design system combined with genetic algorithm can greatly improve the design efficiency,reduce the repetitive labor,get the bracelet design with distinct shape,and enrich the variety of design of big lacquer bracelets and jewelry.
