Polyester-cotton blended fabric not only maintains the style of polyester stiffness and wear resistance, but also has the moisture absorption and air permeability of cotton fabric,so it occupies an important market position in textile fabrics.Generally, the dyeing process of polyester cotton blended fabric is mainly two bath dyeing process, one bath two-step dyeing process and one bath one-step dyeing process with disperse dyes and reactive dyes. These dyeing processes all use water as the dyeing medium. The main problems are long dyeing time, low production efficiency, high energy consumption of water, electricity and steam, reduction cleaning, and the use of a large number of dispersants Soaping agent, etc.,can produce wastewater with high chroma value, which increases the difficulty of wastewater treatment. In this paper, the clean production and processing technology of polyestercotton blended fabric was developed by using the environment-friendly silicon based non water dyeing medium. In one bath two-step dyeing system, the effects of dye promoter, dyeing temperature, heat preservation time, liquid rate, sodium carbonate concentration on the dye uptake, dye fixation rate and fixation rate of reactive dyes, cotton components of disperse dyes and polyester components of reactive dyes were discussed. How to control dyeing conditions in dyeing process to reduce the influence of disperse dyes on cotton fiber and reactive dyes were analyzed The dyeing fastness of the blended fabric was tested. The specific research contents are as follows:(1)Study on dyeing of polyester-cotton blended fabric with disperse dyes in non-aqueous mediumPolyester-cotton blended fabric was dyed by one bath two-step method in silicon-based non-aqueous medium. The effects of dyeing temperature, dyeing promoter, dispersant and anti staining agent on the components of cotton dyed by disperse dyes were discussed. The staining law and mechanism of disperse dyes with different structures on cotton fiber were studied. The results show that the dye with anthraquinone structure has lower staining on cotton fiber and lower dye uptake on polyester fiber. With the increase of temperature, the swelling rate of cotton fiber is higher than that of polyester fiber, and the dyeing rate of disperse dyes on cotton fiber is higher than that on polyester fiber. At a certain amount of dyeing aids, the higher the temperature, the higher the dye uptake of disperse dyes to polyester component in polyester-cotton blended fabric, and the lower the dye uptake to cotton. When the temperature is constant, the dye uptake of polyester with disperse dyes can be increased and the staining rate of cotton with disperse dyes can be reduced by using proper promoters. When the temperature is 160 ?,the dye promoter is 5%(o.w.f)and the fixation time is 55 min,the dye uptake of disperse dyes is 95.7%,and the staining of cotton is only 3.33%.In the silicon-based non-aqueous medium dyeing system, the affinity of disperse dyes to polyester fiber can be improved by using the difference of affinity between disperse dyes to cotton fiber and polyester fiber, which is helpful to reduce the staining of cotton fiber.(2)Dyeing of polyester component of polyester-cotton blended fabric with reactive dyes in nonaqueous mediumIn the silicon-based non-aqueous medium dyeing system, through exploring the influence of reactive dyes on the dyeing of polyester-cotton blended fabric, this paper analyzes how the existence of polyester components affects the utilization and dye uptake of reactive dyes, and makes HPLC analysis on the reactive dyes contaminated on polyester fiber to analyze the components of reactive dyes contaminated on polyester fiber. The results showed that the fixation rate of reactive red 195 and Blue 19 decreased by 13.6% and 20.32% respectively after dyeing with disperse dyes, which indicated that the staining of cotton fabric with disperse dyes would affect the dyeing of cotton fiber with reactive dyes and reduce the fixation rate of cotton component with reactive dyes. The ratio of reactive dye to hydrolytic dye is about 0.92:1 for heterobis reactive dyes, and about 0.078:1 for mono vinyl sulfone reactive dyes. The results show that the hydrolytic dyes of mono vinyl sulfone reactive dyes are more likely to stain the polyester component, while the proportion of reactive dyes and hydrolytic dyes of heterobis reactive dyes with larger molecular weight to the polyester component is smaller.(3)Dyeing effect of polyester-cotton blended fabric in silicon based non-aqueous mediumThe optimal dyeing conditions of disperse dyes / reactive dyes for polyester-cotton blended fabric in silicon-based non-aqueous medium dyeing system were obtained through previous research, and compared with the traditional water bath dyeing system. The results show that the rubbing fastness, soaping fastness and sun fastness of the dyed fabric are above grade 4 under the same amount of dye.Dyeing polyester-cotton blended fabric in non-aqueous medium can not only save 97.0% ?97.75% of dyeing water, but also reduce wastewater discharge, shorten dyeing time, and realize less alkali, less water and no salt dyeing. In addition, gas chromatography was used to analyze the residual media on the dyed fabric. The test results showed that the residual amount of silicon-based non-aqueous media on the dyed fabric was 0 after drying in the pressure dryer for 1 h,indicating that there was no residual media on the dyed fabric.
