Casting cranes are the main equipment for the transfer of high-temperature molten metals in the metallurgical industry.Casting cranes have been working in special working environments such as high temperature,high dust and heavy loads for a long time.During the operation,they frequently start and brake and other production and operation processes,which make their structure and The performance of the mechanism is constantly degrading,and it is necessary to predict and discover these failures in time to avoid major accidents such as tipping and derailment during molten metal transfer operations.The braking system plays an important role in the safety and security of the casting crane for high-temperature molten metal transfer,so the monitoring of the braking system is particularly important.This paper has carried out the technical research on the monitoring of the brake system of the molten metal crane.Through the fault judgment and analysis of the brake system,the brake characteristic parameters that ensure the stable operation of the storage and transportation container during the lifting process are determined and the detection technology and fault judgment are designed.Methods: Use flexible array pressure detection technology to monitor the operating status of brakes,design flexible array pressure sensors,develop monitoring equipment for braking process and braking performance of brake equipment,and use the network version of MCGS configuration software for brake system monitoring,Real-time monitoring of data signals and image display of monitoring screens.The sensor array signal acquisition adopts distributed equipment,and exchanges information with industrial computers through MODBUS field bus.At the end of this paper,a functional test of the monitoring system is carried out to realize real-time monitoring of data signals and image display of monitoring screens,real-time monitoring of the brake system,real-time curve and historical curve,alarm processing,system operation parameter setting,fault judgment,etc.
