In the process of tobacco leaf conditioning,redrying,and cigarette production,a large amount of waste tobacco powder was produced every year that cannot be used for cigarette production,causing a great waste in the tobacco industry.How to digest and utilize these waste tobacco powder was an urgent problem for chinese tobacco industry.It has been reported that waste tobacco powder contains a large amount of tobacco flavor components,alkaloids,proteins,amino acids,sugars,chlorogenic acid and other usable components.In this study,the comprehensive utilization of tobacco waste was carried out,which provided an effective way for chinese tobacco industry to reduce resource waste and environmental pollution.The results were as follows:(1)Two kinds of characteristic flavors of tobacco were established.The Maillard reaction process included adding L-glutamic to 6%,adjusting pH to 8,reacting at 115? for5 h,and keeping the water content of the reaction system at 15%.The final product was ET172,a thick,dark brown liquid that enhances the richness of the aroma and makes the taste more mellow and comfortable.The best extraction process for special tobacco flavors was as follows: the alcohol content of sorghum tail liquor was 20%,the ratio of material to liquid was 1:10,the extraction temperature was 75?,the extraction time was 2h,and the extraction time was twice.The flocculation process was as follows: the ratio of material to liquid was 1:10,the flocculant was plant extraction clarifier A,dosage was 2%,the plant extraction clarifier B was 3%,the flocculation temperature was 60?,flocculation time was 2h,centrifugation was 4000r/min,and the supernatant was decompressed and concentrated.The vacuum concentration process was as follows: vacuum distillation temperature was 50?,distillation pressure was175-100 mbar.In the distillation process,the volatile components were collected and connected to the collector(propylene glycol as absorbent)(collection throughout the entire process).The product ET1725 was a brown-red liquid with a typical tobacco characteristic aroma with a slight wine aroma.It was soluble in propylene glycol and water.When used in cigarettes,it can increase the aroma,increase sweetness and moisturization,and improve oral comfort.(2)A step-by-step combined extraction and separation process for chlorogenic acid,solanesol,nicotine,and protein was determined.In first step,50% ethanol was used as the extraction solvent under acidic conditions with a pH of 5,and the ratio of material to liquid was 1:10.The extraction temperature was 60?,the extraction time was 1h,and the extraction was performed three times to obtain chlorogenic acid and nicotine extracts.The extraction rate of chlorogenic acid and nicotine was 95.07% and the extraction rate of nicotine was83.2%.In second step,the residue after extraction was dried to remove water,anhydrous ethanol was used as the extraction solvent under the condition of pH 10,the material-to-liquid ratio was 1:10,the extraction temperature was 60°C,and the extraction time was 0.5h and extraction time was 1 time.The extracts of solanesol and nicotine were obtained,in which the extraction rate of solanesol and nicotine was 73.5% and the extraction rate of nicotine was5.67%.In third step,the above-mentioned residue was dried for protein extraction.The best protein refining process wa the solid-liquid ratio of 1:17,the extraction temperature of 60,the extraction pH of 8,and the extraction time of twice.The separation process of chlorogenic acid was as follows: NPA-9 was an adsorption resin,the pH was 4.0,the sample volume was 35 ml,the sample flow rate was 1ml/min,the eluent was 50% ethanol,and the elution flow rate was 3ml/min and the volume of eluting liquid was 400 ml,the purity of chlorogenic acid was about 75%,the yield was about 80.0%.The separation process of nicotine was as follows: petroleum ether was the extraction solvent,the mass ratio of extraction liquid/solvent was 1:2,the number of extraction times was 5,and the pH was 8.After the extraction,the solvent was removed to obtain the crude nicotine,and the crude nicotine was added alkali to dissolve water,and then extracted again.The extraction rate of nicotine was 90%,and the purity of nicotine was about 95%.The separation process of solanesol was as follows: Na OH was used as the saponification base,the amount was 2%,the saponification temperature was 70°C with 3h at which the yield of solanesol was 93% and the purity was 25%.The protein separation process was as follows: alkali solution operation,alkali solution temperature was 60?,pH was 8,alkali solution time was 60 min,and alkali solution was three times under stirring condition.In acid precipitation process,the optimal extraction conditions were pH 3and 5? for 8h,and the extraction rate of tobacco protein was76.62%(3)ET1723 ET1725,two kinds of waste smoke flavor developed,had good application effect in TS(Y)cigarettes.Meanwhile,the addition formula of TS(Y)cigarettes was determined,in which the addition ratio of ET1723 was 0.12,and the addition ratio of ET1725 was 0.33.Compared with the original additive formula,the aroma quality and quantity were increased,the throat irritation was reduced,and the smoke richness was increased.
