As a kind of compressed air production equipment widely used in the textile field,air compressors are a major energy consumer of enterprises.In recent years,the energy consumption of compressed air systems has exceeded one-third of the total energy consumption of textile enterprises.This paper takes the centrifugal air compressor unit of a textile factory in Xianyang as the research object,combines the intake air pretreatment equipment with the air compressor,from theoretical analysis to practical application,studies the influence of air intake parameters on the energy consumption of the air compressor unit.At the same time,the inlet air pretreatment equipment was selected and designed,and the energy consumption and economic efficiency of the air compressor system before and after pretreatment were analyzed.First of all,it is found that the inlet temperature and humidity of the centrifugal air compressor are high through many investigations in this textile factory.Through theoretical analysis of the compression process and power consumption of the centrifugal air compressor,it is found that reducing the inlet temperature and humidity of the air compressor can reduce the energy consumption of the air compressor,improve the energy utilization rate and reduce the subsequent cooling and drying burden.Then through the analysis of the heat exchanger structure,it is proposed to choose the integral finned tube surface cooler with chilled water as the air compressor intake pretreatment equipment.According to the measured data of the air compressor suction parameters in summer,the surface cooler is designed with the average intake air temperature of 42°C,the relative humidity of 30%,and the cooling to 32°C as the design target parameters.In this design,the material,heat exchange area,number of tube rows,fin parameters,etc.of the finned tube surface cooler were determined,and the heat transfer calculation and flow resistance calculation of the heat exchanger were carried out.Secondly,the actual application of surface cooler in the inlet of centrifugal air compressor in Xianyang Textile Factory was tested,and the quantitative relationship between different inlet parameters and specific energy and total efficiency of air compressor was analyzed by using control variable method:(1)When the moisture content of inlet air is constant,with the increase of temperature,the specific energy gradually increases and the total efficiency gradually decreases,and the greater the moisture content,the smaller the increase of specific energy and the decrease of total efficiency.At the same time,the gas output of air compressor increases with the decrease of temperature and moisture content.(2)When the inlet air temperature is constant,as the moisture content increases,the specific energy continues to increase,the energy consumption of the air compressor becomes higher,and the overall efficiency gradually decreases.The higher the suction temperature,the smaller the increase in specific energy and the decrease in overall efficiency.The heat exchange efficiency of the surface cooler is in the range of 70% to 89.2%.Finally,the energy consumption of the air compressor system before and after pretreatment is comprehensively analyzed,and the summer equipment operating costs are calculated.It is concluded that the energy consumption of the air compression system fluctuates with the inlet air temperature and moisture content,with the temperature of 28? and the moisture content of 15.98g/kg.The total energy consumption of the system is the lowest,saving2.82% compared with the original system,which is the best inlet air parameter.When the inlet temperature is between 31.7? and 40.2? and the moisture content is between 17.03g/kg and 18.39 g/kg,the system will not save energy,which is the most unfavorable range.If the inlets of the all centrifugal air compressors of the plant are all pre-treated in summer,the air output of the air compressor system will increase each year,the power consumption and operating costs will be greatly reduced,and the production efficiency of the air compressor will be improved.Energy saving and economic benefits.
