With the wide application range of long-distance belt conveyor in industrial production and the increasingly complex working environment,the real-time requirements for fault locating are also improved.The original field bus can not meet the current communication needs,affecting the speed of fault information transmission,which poses a threat to the safety of the workers.Compared with the traditional bus,PROFINET has the advantages of higher transmission efficiency and lower maintenance cost,so it is of great significance to apply PROFINET bus technology to the fault locating system of long-distance belt conveyor.At present,foreign Siemens is at the world's leading level of research on PROFINET technology,and can directly use the ERTEC200 P chip as the control chip of the communication gateway between RS-485 and PROFINET,but the development of this chip is difficult,and the domestic research on this technology is in the initial stage.According to the existing long-distance belt conveyor fault locating system and the PROFINET protocol connection problem of Siemens PLC,this paper studies a network interface based on PROFINET protocol to realize the protocol conversion between RS-485 and PROFINET,designs the hardware circuit of the protocol converter to realize the above functions,compiles the protection software program,builds the test platform,and completes the function verification of the whole machine.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,this paper analyzes the working principle and related protocols of PROFINET bus and RS-485 bus,determines TPS-1 chip as the conversion chip according to its working characteristics,and gives the overall design scheme of fault locating system of long-distance belt conveyor based on PROFINET bus.The utilization of TPS-1 chip into this system not only gets rid of the limitations of ERTEC200 P chip on program development,but also improves the real-time and accuracy of system fault locating.Secondly,according to the process of fault information transmission,the hardware of the fault locating system of long-distance belt conveyor based on PROFINET bus is designed,and the connection between RS-485,SPI and PROFINET is completed.Combined with the hardware structure and design requirements of the system,the control program of the system is written to realize the communication of the whole system.Finally,a physical object is built to test the communication between the slave station and the master station,and between the master station and PLC.The communication state of the system is monitored in PROTAL software,which verifies that the overall design scheme of the system is feasible,and the research on fault locating system of long-distance belt conveyor based on PROFINET bus is completed.
