Research On The Impact Of Government Regulation On The Sustainable Competitive Advantage Of Coal Power Enterprises

As China's basic energy industry,coal power industry has made great contributions to China's economic development and national life.However,coal power industry also causes great damage to the environment due to its characteristics of high emission,high pollution and high energy consumption.After China's economy enters the new normal,it emphasizes the protection of the environment while developing the economy,and resolutely puts an end to sacrificing the ecological environment for economic development.To this end,the state has successively issued policies such as "carbon trading","de production capacity" and "double carbon strategy" to control coal production capacity and carbon emissions.At the beginning of 2020,the epidemic broke out all over the world,and the economic development of most countries was slow due to the repeated epidemic.Under the correct leadership of the party and the government,China has become one of the few countries in the world that can fully resume work and production.In order to meet the needs at home and abroad,Chinese enterprises operate at full capacity.As a result,the carbon emissions of coal-fired power enterprises seriously exceed the standard,the energy consumption in many places is close to the "red line",and the ecological environment is seriously threatened,The government has to control it by means of power rationing.In the face of the government's mandatory control measures,how to deal with coal power enterprises,how different strategies will have an impact on the sustainable competitive advantage of enterprises,how to take government regulation as an opportunity to surpass competitors to achieve sustainable competitive advantage,are the problems commonly faced by coal power enterprises.therefore,will the government regulation as a starting point,this study discusses government regulation to the coal enterprise the influence of different environmental strategy and enterprise sustainable competitive advantage,and further studied the different environmental strategies to the influence of coal enterprise sustainable competitive advantage,and on this basis,further explored the executive intention under the influence of environmental protection enterprise in the face of the government regulation will be how to choose the strategic environment.Firstly,in view of the above situation,based on the research of literature review,natural resource-based view,sustainable competitive advantage,government intervention theory and high-order theory,this paper will draw the research hypothesis of this paper,that is,government regulation will not only directly affect the sustainable competitive advantage of coal-fired power enterprises,but also have an impact on the sustainable competitive advantage of coal-fired power enterprises through the impact on the environmental strategy of coal-fired power enterprises,Executives' willingness to protect the environment will regulate the environmental strategy choice of coal and power enterprises.Second,In order to verify the reliability and validity of the questionnaire,207 senior management hypotheses were collected and analyzed by SPSS,The hypotheses proposed in this paper are verified:(1)government regulation has a significant positive impact on the sustainable competitive advantage of coal and power enterprises;(2)Enterprise environmental strategy has a significant positive impact on the sustainable competitive advantage of coal and power enterprises;(3)Government regulation has a significant positive impact on enterprise environmental strategy.(4)enterprise environmental strategy plays an intermediary role between government regulation and enterprise sustainable competitive advantage;(5)Executives' willingness to protect the environment plays a mediating role between government regulation and corporate environmental strategy.Finally,The research conclusion of this paper has certain theoretical and practical significance for the strategic management of coal-fired power enterprises under the government's environmental regulation,enriches the effective research on the field of strategic management and the sustainable competitive advantage of enterprises under the government's regulation in the coal-fired power industry,discusses the impact of executives' environmental protection will on the environmental strategy of coal-fired power enterprises,and provides the managers of coal-fired power enterprises with practical ideas of strategic choice in the face of government regulation.Coal power enterprises actively fulfill their environmental responsibilities,which can not only improve the competitive position of enterprises,but also help to realize the sustainable competitive advantage of enterprises and form the dual harvest of enterprise economic performance and social performance.
