Nowadays,in order to spin high-quality cashmere yarns,high requirements are placed on cashmere fibers and spinning conditions.In order to make ordinary cashmere yarns can be spun out of cashmere with excellent yarn performance through a relatively simple process.In this paper,the re-drafting process is used to carry out the redrafting experiment on the cashmere yarn,and a more in-depth study of the front and back gauge of the false twister is carried out.In this paper,an orthogonal experiment is firstly designed based on the three factors that have a great influence on the quality of re-drafted yarn,such as the draft multiple,the degree of untwisting and the front and back gauge of the false twister,and the optimal spinning process parameters of yarn evenness CV value,3 mm hairiness and breaking strength were determined,which are 1.2 times draft,420 twist / m untwisted and 1.5L0: 2L0 front and back gauge ratio of false twister(L0 is the average length of cashmere fiber).Then,based on the optimal process parameters of the orthogonal test,through the singlefactor test of the gauge,the optimal gauge ratio of each yarn forming performance is obtained,and then the same proportion experiment is designed by changing the gauge ratio in equal proportions.Experiments show that increasing the front gauge or decreasing the back gauge will reduce yarn evenness CV value;a smaller front gauge is beneficial to improve yarn hairiness,while a larger or smaller back gauge has a negative impact on the number of hairiness;a larger front gauge is beneficial to the improvement of the yarn breaking strength,while a larger or smaller rear gauge is not conducive to the improvement of yarn breaking strength.Finally,a gage verification experiment was designed based on the optimal gage ratio of each yarn-forming performance obtained by the experiment with the same proportion to explore the applicability of the optimal gage ratio under different draft ratios and degrees of untwisting.The results show that a larger front gauge is beneficial to improve yarn evenness,and the back gauge should be as close to 1.5L0 as possible,but not greater than 1.5L0;When the front gauge is between 1?1.5L0 and the back gauge is between 2?2.5L0,the yarn 3 mm hairiness will be reduced;as for improving the yarn breaking strength,the front gauge should be greater than 2L0 or the back gauge should be less than 2.5L0 during spinning.
