With the economic development and the improvement of women ' s health awareness, the market consumption of female health products is increasing.Among female sanitary products, sanitary towels occupy the first place in the market with absolute advantage. In the environment of consumption upgrading, sanitary towel products are also developing towards differentiation, highend and green. At present,hot-air nonwovens are still the main surface materials for sanitary towel, and spunlace nonwovens only occupy a small part. However, the natural, healthy and environmental characteristics of spunlace nonwovens make it have great development potential in the application of sanitary towel surface. Therefore, the development of new sanitary towel spunlace nonwoven materials is of great significance.Aiming at the problems of poor dryness, sensitization and side leakage of nonwoven materials for sanitary towels on the market, this paper aims to develop a kind of healthy and environmentally friendly nonwoven material with good dryness. In this paper, the absorption and unidirectional transfer mechanism of liquid in the material were studied.Based on this,a double-layer composite structure spunlace nonwoven material was designed. The upper layer of the material is a fiber network composed of small fineness of viscose fiber, and the lower layer is a fiber network composed of large fineness of bamboo fiber.Seven kinds of spunlaced nonwovens with different composite mesh ratio or surface density were prepared, and the properties of the seven samples were optimized by finishing process and the optimal finishing scheme. The properties of the optimized samples were tested and analyzed to evaluate the possibility of their application in sanitary towel surface.(1)The two-layer structure composed of different fineness fibers can produce differential capillary effect, and different wetting states on both sides of the material can produce wetting gradient driving force, which can promote the unidirectional movement of liquid in the material. Therefore, the dryness of spunlaced nonwovens can be improved by special structural design.(2)The impermeability index of viscose / bamboo spunlace nonwovens cannot meet the requirements of sanitary napkin surface, which can be improved by unilateral water repellent finishing.Through orthogonal experimental design analysis,it is determined that among the three influencing factors of unilateral spray finishing, the spray time has the greatest influence on the impermeability, and the optimal finishing process parameters are MT-ECO 3 ml,spray time 15 s and baking temperature 130 °C.(3)The fibers on the surface of viscose / bamboo spunlaced nonwovens are disorderly distributed, and there are grooves on the surfaces of the two fibers, which is the main reason for the large amount of material permeability. The fibers on the water-repellent finishing surface(viscose fiber surface)are relatively rough compared with those on the untreated surface(bamboo fiber surface). The contact angle of the bamboo fiber surface is less than 90°,and the contact angle of the viscose fiber surface is 120 ? 130°.The contact angles on both sides are quite different.Theoretically, the material has one-way transmission conditions, which can show a low amount of permeability.(4)The surface density of the prepared nonwovens was basically consistent with the expectation. After finishing, the strength, longitudinal elongation, air permeability and back permeability of the viscose / bamboo spunlaced nonwovens could meet the requirements of sanitary towels. The back permeability of the seven samples was 0.4 ? 0.8 g,which showed good dryness.Compared with the single-layer adhesive material, the structure design of two-layer fiber network parallel composite can reduce the thickness and permeability of the material and improve the permeability of the material.
