In order to meet the requirements of mechanical properties of products when smelting various superalloys in iron and steel plants,multiple smelting treatments are needed.The oxide layer of raw materials usually contains oxygen and hydrogen elements,which will have a great impact on the smelting process,so it must be removed.The main characteristics of round steel grinding are: large size and low precision.If the oxidation layer is removed directly by lathe and other equipment,a large number of materials need to be turned,and the ordinary lathe can not clamp round steel.The parts with small size and high precision can give full play to the advantages of lathe processing.At present,the main manual grinding method of round steel grinding is difficult to ensure the quality and low production efficiency.Meanwhile,the dust produced by grinding will harm the health of operators.Up to now,there is no special equipment to surface grinding large-size round steel.The purpose of this paper is to design a round steel grinding machine to solve the problems in the above technical background:(1)The overall structure design and main parameters calculation of the round steel grinding machine are carried out.Two working forms of the movable grinding head and the fixed grinding head are designed,which can meet the needs of different processing scenarios.At the same time,the structure is optimized in the design,which can reduce the manufacturing cost and the later use and maintenance burden;(2)The modal analysis of the grinding head of round steel grinding machine is carried out.Based on the results of modal analysis,the harmonic response analysis is carried out.The weak position of resonance frequency is found by synthesizing the results of modal analysis and harmonic response analysis;(3)The topology optimization method is used to analyze the bearing box,and the structure size is optimized without affecting the normal operation of the round steel grinding machine,so as to achieve the purpose of energy saving and consumption reduction;(4)Finite element analysis is carried out on the stress of grinding wheel under different working conditions:(1)The grinding wheel is used to grind 40 Cr Ni Mo A round steel at the linear speed of 70m/s,80m/s,90m/s and 100m/s respectively.The relationship between grinding speed and stress is analyzed;(2)The comprehensive elastic modulus of abrasive layer is calculated,and the stress of local structure of abrasive layer is analyzed;(3)The stress and deformation of the two types of grinding head moving and fixed grinding head are analyzed and compared to find the best processing method;(4)The relationship between the feed speed and the stress is analyzed by changing the feed speed of the workpiece to make it move at the speed of 0.3m/s,0.35m/s and 0.4m/s respectively.Finally,the actual production situation of the round steel grinding machine is introduced,with field pictures attached.
