| The sustained positive environmental protection policy has significantly boosted the demand of the environmental governance market and expanded the market space.After years of development,China’s environmental protection industry has entered a period of rapid development.In the meantime,the application continues to expand,the industrial structure is gradually adjusted and enhanced,and the market competition is increasingly fierce;Environmental protection companies are facing great opportunities and development,but also more severe challenges.This paper takes Hunan Zhongnan Water & Environmental Protection Technology co.,LTD.(hereinafter referred to as “Zhongnan W&E Company”)as the research object.Under the background of the rapid development of environmental protection industry,the theoretical basis of the research supported by strategic management theory and strategic transformation theory is formed to guide the analysis and research on the strategic transformation of Zhongnan W&E Company.The first stage is the analysis of the environment and conditions of the company’s transformation and development.Firstly,it introduces the basic situation of the company,the original strategy and the necessity and motivation of the company’s strategic transformation.Secondly,the PEST analysis method(analyzing from the aspects of Politics,Economy,Society and Technology)was used to analyze the external environment,industrial competition,internal resources and conditions that the company is facing to help specify the development trend of the industry,the market competition and the company’s strength.Thirdly,SWOT analysis method(analyzing from the aspects of Strengths,Weaknesses,Opportunities,Threats)is used to put forward the strengths and weaknesses of the company and the opportunities and challenges faced by the company,then combined with SWOT matrix model,the corresponding strategies were proposed.The second stage is about the selection and formulation of the company’s transformation and development strategy.Based on the comprehensive analysis in the early stage,the new positioning and strategic objectives of the company after the transformation is proposed,the types of the transformation strategies and the new overall strategies are determined after the comparative analysis,the new business portfolio is proposed by using the Boston matrix model,and the feasible business strategies are adopted to help the company to pass the transition period smoothly.The third stage is about the implementation and assurance of the transformation strategy.According to the stage of short term,medium term and long term to implement the transformation development strategy,appropriate strategies and implementation safeguards are adopted to escort it in the process of the implementation of the transition strategy,and the difficulties that may be encountered in the implementation process are analyzed and predicted,the methods and measures to solve the difficulties are proposed.Under the background of facing the challenge of market reshuffle and internal transformation and development of state-owned enterprises,this paper fully considers the opportunities and threats under the current situation,fully discovers its own advantages,and finalizes the transformation and upgrading of Zhongnan W&E Company by implementing the integrated development strategy.Therefore,it is hoped that this paper can not only provide some ideas and reference for the strategic transformation decision of Zhongnan W&E Company,but also serve as a reference for the transformation and development of other environmental protection enterprises with the same troubles and needs in the industry. |
