The Influence Of Community Integration On Garbage Classification Behavior

In recent years,more and more achievements have been made in our country,however,there is a serious imbalance between environmental problems and economic development.This shows that there are still problems in our implementation and management in this aspect.As an important part of the closed-loop of consumer behavior,how to improve the people’s awareness of garbage classification is very important,we should regulate people’s behavior and improve people’s initiative through scientific guidance and management.From the aspect of the government,we should make the garbage classification policy more detailed in the implementation,and establish a long-term effective management mode.On the basic of norm activation theory and social interaction,we have to learn the impact of community integration on garbage classification behavior in China situation,This paper argues that there are several progressive dimensions of community integration.The basic layer is community support,which can provide guarantee for community integration,and next are the residents’ sense of community identity and the degree of community participation,they are also key elements to measure the degree of community integration.In this paper,we take individual norms as mediating variables,and the perception of policy effectiveness as moderating variables.We adopt questionnaire to collect data research needs and finally obtain 434 data.Then analysis tools like SPSS and Amos are employed to analysis and process valid data further,whose number is 396.The results are as follows:(1)The first and third dimensions of community integration have a significant impact on garbage sorting behavior,but community identity does not have an impact on it.The reason is that during the epidemic,the questionnaire mainly adopts online collection method,and the sample is young.Due to the short living time,it may lack necessary real identification for the living environment.Although the survey shows that there is a certain degree of community identity,it can be deviated from the real identification.In addition,only the influence of ideological identity on behavior is limited,only the actual interaction cases such as support and participation can exert a greater impact on behavior.(2)The first and second dimensions of community integration have a significant impact on individual norms,but the impact of community participation on individual norms is not significant.The reason is that most cases of community participation in China focus on informal recreational activities,so the promotion of individual norms is not obvious.(3)In the three dimensions of community integration and garbage classification behavior,personal norms play a partial intermediary role,which shows that cultivating personal norms can improve the effect of garbage classification behavior of community residents.(4)The perception of policy effectiveness has a significant moderating effect between community integration and individual norms,and the mediating effect of individual norms is only established when the perception of policy effectiveness is high.It shows that when the perceived degree of policy effectiveness is low,it is more important to improve the degree of community integration.This study aims to explain that the key of the government after the introduction of garbage classification policy is to form a long-term management method through scientific means in the specific implementation.Only improving the personal norms of the masses and internalizing the policies into individual values by gradually can the norms play positive role in the long-term work of green development.Secondly,in the implementation of policies in different communities,we should learn to adjust policy means in time according to the situation of different communities integration,so that community residents can form their own ability of management and selfsupervision,and reduce the cost of policy publicity through community integration.Thirdly,we should pay attention to the perception of the policy effectiveness of the masses.We should not only carry out extensive policy publicity,policy education,policy punishment,etc,but also pay attention to the evaluation of policy effect.The ultimate goal is to let people understand why and how to classify.Only by letting consumers truly understand the method and significance of waste classification,restricting consumers’ self-behavior through this policy and actively participating in waste classification at the same time,can we say that policy publicity plays an important role.
