In the process of gear transmission,transmission error can be used to evaluate the transmission quality of gear chain.However,at present,the analysis of the transmission error of plastic gear is still blank in our country,so the accurate measurement of the transmission error of plastic gear is particularly important for the research of plastic gear.The plastic gear testing machine can measure the transmission error of plastic gear,but the influence factors,test conditions and the unique characteristics of plastic gear on the measurement results can’t be ignored.In order to avoid the influence of these factors on the measurement results of the plastic gear testing machine,this paper studies the performance of the plastic gear testing machine,analyzes the transmission error results measured by the testing machine under different test conditions,and provides guidance for the application of the plastic gear testing machine without changing the original mechanical structure of the testing machine.The specific contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The working principle,mechanical structure and main hardware of the plastic gear testing machine are introduced.The definition and measurement principle of gear transmission error are studied.(2)The influencing factors of the measurement results of the plastic gear testing machine are analyzed.Through the analysis and calculation of the precision of the plastic gear testing machine,it is concluded that the precision shafting has a great influence on the transmission error.According to the experimental research on the tightening torque of the precision shafting,the tightening torque of the bearing is the main factor affecting the rotation accuracy of the precision shafting,and the tightening torque will also affect the transmission error measurement results.(3)The transmission error of plastic gear testing machine at different rotating speeds is measured and analyzed.According to the Stribeck friction model,the influence of the nonlinear friction of the bearing on the transmission error of the testing machine is studied.At the best speed,the friction moment of the precision shafting is the minimum,and the influence of the friction moment on the transmission error is the minimum.(4)The transmission error of plastic gear testing machine under different loads is measured and analyzed.Firstly,the three-dimensional modeling of plastic gear is carried out,and the stress-strain analysis and calculation are carried out based on ANSYS finite element analysis software to explore the relationship between load and transmission error,and the change rule between load and transmission error is verified by comparing with the results of measurement of transmission error under different loads.(5)Design of measurement software.According to the existing mechanical structure and hardware system from the perspective of software engineering,the detailed architecture design of the functions involved in the measurement software is carried out,and the interface design and programming of the measurement software are carried out,which can realize the measurement control,data acquisition and processing,transmission error curve and data input.
