Research On Berth Layout Method Considering Port Service Level And Water Pollution Risk

With the concept of sustainable development more and more attention,the construction of "green port" has become an important direction of the current port development,and strive to achieve a good balance between economic interests and environmental protection,to achieve sustainable development of the port.In previous practical projects,in the port planning stage,berth layout mainly considered water and land conditions,such as channel depth,land connection,etc.,and seldom considered the impact of berth layout on ship navigation conditions and environmental pollution in port waters.But in fact,There are great differences in the number of service vessels,the berthing time of vessels and the pollution risk of different cargo berths.For the comprehensive port area,the berth layout scheme directly affects the navigable state and pollution risk of ships in the port area.This paper proposes a berth layout method which takes into account the port service level and water pollution risk.Firstly,the ship navigation system is analyzed,and its simulation model is built to explore the influence of different berth arrangement on the port service level.Secondly,the pollution sources of port waters and the influencing factors of water pollution risk of different berth layout schemes are analyzed,and the quantitative model of port water pollution risk assessment under hydrodynamic conditions is built to analyze the water pollution risk of different berth layout schemes.Then,a berth layout method considering the port service level and water pollution risk is proposed.Based on the simulation model of ship navigation system and the quantitative model of water pollution risk assessment,an evaluation model of berth layout scheme is established.Finally,a numerical example is given to verify the application of the model to verify the usability and effectiveness of the proposed method.The results show that for the two aspects of port service level and water pollution risk,the evaluation results of berth layout plan are different when the port focuses on different aspects,and the berth layout scheme can be determined according to the actual situation of the port.In this paper,a method of berth arrangement for coastal ports considering both port service level and water pollution risk is proposed.The research results can provide theoretical reference for port planning and scientific basis for the construction of "green port".
