| Since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed the revitalization of the countryside,the construction of a new countryside has been the primary task of advancing China’s modernization,and the improvement of rural water environment is an integral part of the construction of a new countryside.In recent years,the problems of rural water environmental pollution have become more and more serious,and problems such as shortage of water resources and continuous deterioration of water quality have become increasingly prominent,which have had a negligible impact on the production and life of rural residents and even economic development.In rural areas,rural residents are The backbone of the water environment problem.However,due to insufficient attention by the local government,insufficient publicity of government policies,weak environmental awareness of rural residents,and limited local technical level,rural residents have not fully participated in water environment improvement,and rural water environment problems have never been Effectively resolved.Therefore,studying the problems of rural water environment improvement,finding the difficulties faced by rural residents fully participating in water environment improvement,and putting forward feasibility suggestions are crucial to improving rural water environment and promoting the participation of multiple parties in the construction of water environment.Economic development in Nanjing is fast and the problem of water pollution in rural areas in Nanjing is also becoming increasingly serious.Through field investigations in typical rural areas of Nanjing,this paper understands the current situation of comprehensive water environment management in rural areas of Nanjing,the evaluation of water environment improvement policies by rural residents in Nanjing,the status of water environment improvement of rural residents in Nanjing,and the payment of water environment improvement in rural areas Current situation of rural residents in Nanjing,including their willingness to participate in water environment improvement.The survey shows that rural residents have a low awareness of water environmental policies,weak publicity of government policies,low recognition of governance effects by rural residents,low awareness of water environmental abilities of rural residents,water environmental behaviors of rural residents,and The willingness to pay for improvement is not high.In response to the above problems,we provide countermeasures and suggestions to promote the participation of rural residents in Nanjing in the construction of water environment:build a service-oriented government to ensure that rural residents participate in the improvement of the water environment;strengthen communication and increase the possibility of rural residents participating in the improvement of the water environment;restrict and incentivize residents’ behavior and increase their enthusiasm for participation.Through the study of this subject,rural residents play a pivotal role in water environment improvement,and promoting rural residents to participate in water environment improvement construction can effectively improve the production and life of rural residents in Nanjing,promote economic development,and promote urbanization. |
