| With the proposal of the "dual carbon" goal, all parts of the country have formulated corresponding carbon emission reduction plans according to their own conditions.By comparing the carbon emission intensity and per capita carbon emissions across the country in 2017,it can be found that Xinjiang’s data ranks at the forefront of the country. It can be seen that transforming Xinjiang’s traditional economic development model and completing Xinjiang’s "dual carbon" goal is an important step to achieve the national goal.In addition,Xinjiang’s industrial structure is seriously unbalanced, and the problem of the unity of opposites between the high-emission and high-pollution development model dominated by energy-based industries and its weak antiinterference ability of the ecological environment is increasingly prominent. In this context,it is of practical significance to clarify the key points of carbon emission reduction in Xinjiang, formulate accurate and effective low-carbon development strategies, accelerate the transformation of economic development models, and promote the low-carbon development of Xinjiang’s industry. When clarifying carbon emission reduction priorities and emission reduction responsibilities,it is necessary to consider not only the industry’s own carbon emissions, but also the flow of carbon between industries with products. Therefore, this study takes industrial correlation as the starting point, and firstly uses the apparent energy consumption estimation method and the EIO-LCA model to measure the direct carbon emissions and implied carbon emissions of various industries in Xinjiang. On this basis, using the idea of industrial correlation, construct the traditional correlation model and carbon emission correlation model, and based on this, and further analyze Xinjiang’s industrial industries in Xinjiang under the goal of low-carbon development. The study found that:(1)From the perspective of industrial development in Xinjiang, the imbalance of light and heavy structures in Xinjiang has increased. In addition, the petroleum industry and metal industry occupy a dominant position in Xinjiang’s industry;from the perspective of energy consumption status,Xinjiang’s energy structure presents the characteristics of coal "dominant".(2)Use the apparent energy consumption estimation method to measure the direct carbon emissions of various industries in Xinjiang, and divide them into high, medium and low emission industries. The study found that the proportion of output value in high-emission industries is relatively large. This shows that Xinjiang’s industry is still dominated by highpollution and high-emission industries, and there is a great pressure on carbon emission reduction.(3)Using the EIO-LCA model, the embodied carbon emissions of various industries in Xinjiang in 2017 were specifically analyzed from the perspective of production chain and consumption demand. The study found that since Xinjiang is dominated by the petrochemical industry, petroleum processing, coking and nuclear fuel processing industries are the upstream industries, and the electricity, heat production and supply industries are the main energy suppliers and are the main contributors to its embodied carbon emissions;export demand implicitly Carbon emissions account for more than half of the total embodied carbon emissions, and the petrochemical and nonferrous metal industries are the main contributors to the embodied carbon emissions of export demand.(4)Through the cluster analysis of various industries in Xinjiang under the low-carbon development goal,it is found that among the leading industry choices based on traditional industry associations, only the agricultural and sideline product processing industry and the textile industry are low-carbon industries, and the rest of the industries are high-emission industries. The energybased industry does not have the connotation of green and low-carbon.Finally,according to the cluster analysis results of Xinjiang’s industrial industries under the low-carbon development goal, suggestions for promoting the low-carbon development of Xinjiang’s industry are put forward for the key regulatory,development-encouraging and development-restricting industries with different economic characteristics and carbon emission characteristics. |
