| Singapore has become a favored international market for Chinese-funded construction enterprises because of its good business environment since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Singapore and China.Under the "Going Global" policy,many Chinese-funded enterprises have gradually entered the relatively mature construction market in Singapore and been participating in the highly competitive industry.As a successful Chinese-funded company in Singapore,CCDC has become one of the largest construction contractors in Singapore in the labor-intensive building construction market with cost-competitive advantages.However,with the changes in recent years like downturn property market and government’s tightening laborpolicy in Singapore as well as the shortage of migrant workers in China,CCDC is also facing its development bottlenecks in Singapore.How to innovate and improve the company’s development model to explore the company’s long-term sustainable development strategy has become an important issue to the management.In this paper,the external environment of CCDC Chinese-funded construction enterprise is analyzed by PEST and five force models,and the internal resources and capabilities of the company is analyzed by value chain analysis.Through the SWOT analysis,the paper analyzes the opportunities,challenges,disadvantages and advantages of CCDC,finds the prospect and direction of future enterprise strategy development and suggests the development strategy for CCDC in the current environment. |
