Research On Communication Management Of B1 Engine Production Line Installation Project In A Company

In the age of information and globalization project communication management as a soft link plays a more important role in the project management system.Each stage of the project cannot do without communication.Effective communication management is the key factor to the success of a project.A company B1 engine production line installation project is facing communication challenges due to the organization structure,stakeholders’responsibility and role changes in different project phases.How to do communication management scientifically in a dynamic project life is an important task to ensure the smooth implementation of a project.This research base on the project communication management theory to define,manage and control communication in different project phases in order to guarantee the smooth progress of the project and help the company to achieve strategic objectives.Firstly,the research is carried out base on the three processes of project communication theory,which is plan communication,manage communication and control communication;Second,the research introduced B1 engine production line installation project and identified all stakeholders;Third,based on project communication theory the communication plan of B1 engine production line in initial and planning phase,implementation phase,project closure and handover phase been separately discussed.By using the power-influence model to analyze all project stakeholders,by interviewing stakeholders to collect their communication requirements,then analyze the requirements to define suitable communication plan for different project phases;Fourth by implementing the communication plan communication content,method,barriers and countermeasures been discussed;At the end,evaluate the communication effectiveness by using subjective and objective evaluation method,comparing actual deliverable with the plan as objective evaluation and conduct questionnaire survey to get the subjective evaluation result.This research will help the company to improve project communication management system and hereby to promote the overall project management level.
