China is at the end of the rapid urbanization development.After decades of continuous construction,China’s urban construction has gradually changed from incremental to both incremental and stock.With the rapid development and change of economy and society,the demand of existing buildings is increasing day by day.Therefore,how to make the transformation and renewal of existing buildings meet the needs of rapid changes becomes the starting point of this paper.Based on the study of light architecture thought and practice,this paper sorts out and puts forward the light technology means and design strategy of the existing building transformation.This paper focuses on the core of light architecture,and integrates the use of light structure and materials as well as the industrial prefabricated construction mode,so as to achieve the goal of rapid construction and sustainable reconstruction and reuse in the transformation of existing buildings and provide a useful reference for the transformation of existing buildings.This paper starts from the practical problems faced by existing buildings in China,connects the development process and application mode of light architecture thought and practice at home and abroad,and hopes to find a joint point.By analyzing research results were reviewed and the existing research,this paper studies hold designed and built in sustainability,Buildability,etc.On the one hand,from the domestic and foreign relevant existing buildings renovation practice case,this paper puts forward the light into a target of existing buildings to improve classification hierarchy,and combing the key problems and optimization scheme,and combined with relevant theoretical knowledge,expand the light-duty design application value in both architecture reconstruction.On the other hand,through the analysis and research of literature and cases,the influencing factors of lightweight design are sorted out,the expert data is obtained through the questionnaire,and the weight of each factor is studied by analytic hierarchy process.Through field research and questionnaire interview,the author summarized and sorted out the excellent measures in the selected typical cases,and evaluated the four cases,and further clarified the current problems and contradictions in the existing building renovation,as the research basis for the sorting strategy.Based on the above contents,this paper summarizes the principles of lightweight design for existing buildings,that is,to reduce the impact on existing buildings and the environment,to highlight the constructability of design and construction,and to "efficient and intensive" structural materials.This paper also studies the corresponding technical means in three aspects: the construction mode of building reconstruction,the formal relationship between new and old structures,and the application of component materials,and puts forward corresponding design strategies from the aspects of terrain and basic conditions,the spatial interface of buildings,and the application of new and old materials.At the same time,the research contents are extended to the overall planning of construction mode and process,the connection order between light structure and existing buildings,etc.Finally,based on the practice of the existing building renovation that the author actually participated in,the lightweight design strategy put forward in this paper is applied in practice.On the basis of the combination of theoretical research and practical exploration,this paper summarizes and anticipates the lightweight design strategy in the renovation of existing buildings.
