| The building sustainable construction plays a vital role in accelerating national economic growth,promoting the healthy development of society,protecting the natural and living environment,and realizing the transformation and upgrading of related industries.However,the problems of short-life building,difficult maintenance,extensive construction and demolition,and backward construction methods in the process of new urbanization and urban renewal have brought serious challenges to the sustainable development of residential building construction in China,led to an urgent need to explore new residential building development way from the two sustainability dimensions of building function and construction method.As a change to fulfill this historic mission,China introduced the SI system building and combined the SI building with the industrialized construction method in the process of new construction industrialization to integrate the sustainability of residential building functions and the construction methods.Because SI building is still in the primary development stage in China,the relationship between industrialized construction methods and the division and function of the SI building system is not clear,and collaboration between various stakeholders is insufficient,which seriously limits the sustainability goals implementation.Under these circumstances,the research on the realization mechanism of sustainability of SI building industrialized construction and renovation has theoretical and practical significance.To clarify the mechanism of sustainability,this research systematically explores the sustainability factors and their interaction,network collaboration and process integration.The main research work is defined as follows:(1)By summarizing the related research literature,the thesis sorts out the theory source of SI building and its research development status in Europe,America,Japan,and China,then analyzes the technology,construction management,and sustainability.With the assistance of bibliometric analysis,the research conducts a systematic review of industrialized construction management,including overall status research,research hotspots and development trends.Then,the thesis defines the research gap and research objective and proposes the overall research framework.(2)Considering the concept of sustainability,the thesis identifies the connections and differences between sustainability,sustainable development,and sustainable construction.By analyzing the system function division of SI building,sustainability and comparison with different sustainable buildings,the connotation of the mechanism of sustainability of SI building industrialized construction and renovation is and elaborated.Then,the thesis discusses the relative research theory basis to this research,research framework,and the support of research methodology to the research gap.(3)According to the triple bottom line of sustainability,the thesis identifies the sustainability factors by reviewing literature and filtering context.The nominal group technique is applied to measure the interaction among sustainability,an interpretive structural model is applied to identify the hierarchy of sustainability system,decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory method is used to classify the sustainability and analysis the function of sustainability factors.Based on the above analysis result,the thesis systematically analyzes the sustainability of SI building industrialized construction and renovation from the overall system level,baseline dimension level and sustainability factor level.(4)Combining synergetic theory and stakeholder theory,the thesis explores the collaboration among sustainability,industrialized construction method,and stakeholder.The meta-network analysis model is applied to build the sustainability-industrialized construction-stakeholder network model.According to the meta-network model,contxnt of various industrialized construction methods and support to sustainability objectives,stakeholder and their impetus on industrialized construction is identified.The two-mode network model based centrality analysis and core-periphery structure analysis is applied to identify the core stakeholder,industrialized construction method,and correspondence.Two-mode conversion analysis is applied to identify the stakeholder and industrialized construction method with a high collaboration level.Based on the above research results,the network collaborative mechanism of sustainability is expounded systematically,then the thesis proposes the SI construction mode towards sustainability.(5)The thesis explores the fragmented attributes process of SI building industrialized construction and renovation based on lean construction and concurrent engineering theory,then a lean and concurrent based research framework is proposed.IDEF0 functional model is applied to identify the workflow and their interaction in the systematic process of SI building industrialized construction and renovation,design structure matrix is applied to build process integration optimization model,iterative,concurrent,and coupled workflow is expounded.Based on the above research result,the thesis explores the specific implementation strategy of process integration,proposes an integrated industrial chain model of macro process integration,and a concurrent construction strategy of skeleton and infill.A case study is conducted to verify the integration optimization model and discuss the significance of process integration in achieving sustainability objectives.Considering the sustainability issue of residential building construction in China,this research combines the sustainability of SI building and industrialized construction,systematically explore the mechanism of sustainability of SI building industrialized construction and renovation,including sustainability system analysis,network collaboration research,and process integration research.The research result contributes to the theoretical research and knowledge body of SI building and industrialized construction,simultaneously,provides practical implication to the SI building industrialized construction and renovation in China. |
