Study On The Edification Space Of Huizhou Traditional Settlements

In the traditional society,in order to maintain the centralized feudal rule,the State takes the Confucianism which emphasizes "Rites" as the main ruling thought,and implements the social education of rites to the subjects and the people.Under the background of social education gradually downward implementation,the space system of education in traditional settlements gradually formed and developed.Huizhou is known as "Zou Lu in the Southeast",which is rich in educational space construction.This paper takes the edification space in Huizhou traditional settlement as the main research object,and combines the social education background and different education forms to carry out a systematic and in-depth study on the types,forms and characteristics of the edification space.At the beginning of this paper,the concept of the edification space is defined,and the research status of the traditional settlements and the related research of the edification space are summarized,in order to provide the academic basis for the follow-up research,and put forward the research questions of this paper: what is the edification space,and what is the manifestation,type characteristics and function mode of the edification space.Based on the different objects,forms and ways of social education in different periods in the process of traditional social changes,we can clearly sort out the context of social education gradually downward implementation.Under the background of the authoritative education of the state to the comprehensive education of the people,this paper interprets the top-down education system in the traditional settlements and the cultural connotation of social education in the edification space.In addition,through the classification and arrangement of different forms of education in the settlement,the edification space is classified into ritual edification space and daily edification space.Ritual edification space includes ancestral hall,cemetery,temple and academy sacrifice space,residential hall space,and daily edification space includes community environment,street space,academy,memorial archway and Shuikou garden etc,as well as the largest number of traditional houses in the settlement,the division of space type also provides direction for the follow-up investigation and research.After understanding the construction background and types of the edification space,combined with the cultural and geographical background of the construction of Huizhou traditional settlement space,this paper investigates the historical evolution,landscape pattern,settlement,various edification space construction and ritual activities of the five selected settlements,so as to analyze the form of various edification space.Then the article focuses on the analysis of the architectural form and the spatial expression of the educational order of these two types of edification space,and explores the educational embodiment of the space under the function of the educational form.Through the study of specific cases,from macro to micro analysis of settlement environment,street space,architectural scale,plane structure,spatial layout,details of decoration,etc.and the internal relationship between the order of enlightenment,and summed up the basic characteristics of the space of enlightenment.Through the study of specific cases,from macro to micro analysis the internal relationship between the order of edification and the settlement environment,street space,architectural scale,plane structure,spatial layout,details of decoration,etc.,and summed up the basic characteristics of the space of edification space.After analyzing the types and characteristics of the edification space,from the settlement level,the architectural level and the human behavior level,the paper explores the influence of the edification space on the development of the settlement,and from multiple perspectives to study the edification space.As an important space of bearing material and humanistic spirit in the settlement,through the actual investigation of the educational space and educational form of Huizhou traditional settlement,this paper analyzes the form of ritual edification space and daily edification space,studies the spatial expression of educational order,summarizes the characteristics of edification space,and demonstrates the space Isomorphism between educational culture and space forms.Through the study of the edification space,we can see that the edification space plays a leading role in the development process of the settlement,and there are constraints on the material construction and human behavior activities of the settlement,especially the function of ancestral hall.
