The Design Strategy Of Students’ Dormitory Adaptability In Chongqing Universities

In recent years,with the continuous expansion of college enrollment,the construction of new and old campuses of colleges and universities has developed rapidly.The student dormitory,which is one of the main buildings of the campus,can also be built in a large amount quickly.In the geographical environment where the mountainous terrain of Chongqing and the high temperature and high humidity are combined,how to adapt the student dormitory under the current trend to the current campus environment of the university,and better serve the campus life of the students,so as to create a good university campus education The environment is a problem worthy of attention and study.The thesis takes the student dormitory of colleges and universities in Chongqing as the research object.As a typical mountainous city,the design of student dormitory of Chongqing colleges and universities has its own particularity due to the special terrain and climate and other environmental conditions.After retrospectively reviewing the development of student dormitory in Chongqing colleges and universities,the field survey of the construction and use of typical student dormitory in colleges and universities was conducted on the spot.The survey found and pointed out that the deficiencies and problems of college student dormitories in Chongqing area are:insufficient adaptation to the terrain and climate of Chongqing;poor interaction with college students;poor use of dormitory space.Aiming at the problems existing in the college student dormitories in Chongqing area,first of all,the characteristics of Chongqing’s topography and climate and the characteristics of the college student dormitories were sorted out.Then,it absorbs nourishment from the traditional Chinese “Tao law of nature” and the western“design combines nature” and other ideas,and combines behavior and psychology related theories to obtain inspiration from relevant practices at home and abroad,forming its own design guidelines and proposing The principle of adaptive design of college student dormitory in Chongqing area.On the basis of the above research,from the three aspects of the architectural layout and shape adapted to the terrain and climate of Chongqing,the external space environment adapted to the interaction of college students,and the internal space environment adapted to the residence of the students,the adaptive design of the dormitory of Chongqing colleges and universities is targeted.Strategy:First,it advocates the layout of dormitory groups and single building design that fits the terrain and climate of Chongqing,and proposes a three-point strategy that comprehensively balances the layout of the terrain and climate,the architectural form that adapts to the mountain terrain and the architectural form that adapts to the climate of Chongqing.Second,it is proposed that the internal space environment should be adapted to the students’ residential use,including three-point strategies to improve the privacy of the living unit,the internal function configuration to improve the living comfort and the internal space environment to create a sense of belonging.Thirdly,the external space environment should be adapted to college students’ communication,including the establishment of an external space system of communication consciousness,an external functional space that promotes communicative behavior,and an external space environment that caters to the psychology of communication.As a professional degree thesis,theory and practice are combined.Finally,taking the design practice of the North Student Dormitory of Chongqing Jiaotong University’s Shuangfu Campus as an example,the basic views and design strategies of the paper were confirmed.
