The research of enterprise innovation focuses on two aspects: technology innovation and service innovation.At present,technological innovation has formed a special research field in the management science,which has developed earlier and more mature,and has brought rich benefits to enterprises.But with the upgrading of industrial structure and the change of economic development mode,the service of global economy has gradually become a major feature of modern economy.The focus of enterprises is gradually shifting from tangible products to intangible high-quality services for customers.People began to pay attention to the impact of service innovation on the economic benefits of enterprises.Power industry is an important engine of social and economic development,and power equipment manufacturing industry provides a solid guarantee for the stable development of power industry,which plays an significant role in social stability and economic development.Based on the above reasons,the role of service innovation strategy in enterprise development becomes more and more critical and important for power equipment manufacturing enterprises.This is mainly reflected in obtaining competitive advantage,improving profit rate,creating new profit growth points and generating differentiation advantage for enterprises.First of all,this paper explains the relevant theories of service innovation,introduces the characteristics and strategic types of service innovation in manufacturing industry,and discusses the two-dimensional selection model of service innovation strategy.Secondly,it analyzes the current situation of D company’s service development,mainly from three aspects: the development of the enterprise,the current situation of enterprise service management and the current problems,which leads to the necessity and feasibility of the company’s service innovation.With the data from the questionnaire survey,combined with the two-dimensional selection model of service innovation strategy and the corresponding SWOT analysis,the paper defines the service innovation strategy of D company,and provides corresponding safeguard measures from six dimensions.The final research results show that D company is at a high level in the domestic power equipment industry,the industrial chain is complete,has a certain brand influence,but the service ability level needs to be improved,and its environment is complex,and the industry competition is fierce.Through the research and analysis,it is concluded that D company is suitable to adopt the service innovation strategy with breakthrough service innovation as the main and cooperative service innovation as the auxiliary.At the same time,for the domestic power equipment industry,we should adhere to service innovation,work together to create an industrial environment suitable for the implementation of service innovation,and lay a solid foundation for the sustainable development of enterprises.
