| After years of development,construction machinery has entered a period of comprehensively shaping and enhancing the brand.Among numerous construction machinery,products of each brand have their own brand characteristics,which are the core elements of Corporate Identity System.Carrying out industrial design of construction machinery based on the brand characteristics helps construction machinery products possess a standardized and systematic brand image.From the basic concepts of construction machinery,brand characteristics and industrial design,this thesis analyzes the composition of the brand characteristics of construction machinery,and puts forward the relationship between brand characteristics and industrial design as well as features of design process based on brand characteristics.According to the level and dimension of construction machinery products,the industrial design of construction machinery based on brand characteristics can be divided into two dimensions.The horizontal dimension refers to the expansion of new models in the same level of products,while vertical dimension refers to the iteration of the same model of products.Brand characteristics can be deconstructed into existing characteristics and new characteristics.The difference between horizontal dimension and vertical dimension in the industrial design of construction machinery products lies in the extraction dimension of existing characteristics.This thesis focuses on the extraction of existing characteristics and the acquisition and transformation of new characteristics.The typical brand characteristics of existing products can be extracted by using design format analysis.And the acquisition sources of new characteristics are composed of(internal)enterprises and(external)markets.The acquired semantic characteristics are transformed into physical dimensional modeling characteristics by designers to generate visual images that can be directly perceived and recognized.Then the existing characteristics and new characteristics are integrated to generate the brand characteristics of new products.And it is proposed that the integration of brand characteristics is a process of microevolution.This thesis also reveals the innovation and continuity mechanisms of brand characteristics,puts forward the proportion model of them and analyzes the reasonable limit of the proportion of them and the influence beyond the limit.Taking SCP130 S forklift truck of Sany Group as a case of design practice and theoretical verification,the industrial design of SCP130 S forklift truck based on brand characteristics was carried out,and the design contents in the stage of demand confirmation,research and analysis,integration and development,and output and evaluation of Sany forklift industrial design were elaborated respectively.Finally,the design scheme is analyzed,and the validity and practicability of the theoretical method for industrial design of construction machinery based on brand characteristics is verified. |
