Geomantic Study On Traditionl Korean Villages In Yanbian Area

Originated in China,fengshui culture has began to spread and develop on the Korean peninsula since ancient times,and further become the cultural concept and ecological ethics deeply cultivated in the mind of the Korean ethnic nationality,thus exerting a profound influence on the selection and creation of its living environment.The Korean ethnic nationality in China is a “cross-border ethnic group”emigrated from the Korean peninsula after the middle of the 20 th century,which is mainly concentrated in the Yanbian area.They have not only inherited the inherent traditional culture of the Korean ethnic nationality,but applied the "local" and "national" traditional fengshui culture into the location and environment creation of villages and towns,thereby making the distinct and unique cultural connotations and characteristics of traditional Korean dwellings in the spatial pattern,road system,orientation indoor layout and even environmental greening aspects.The paper mainly can be divided into four parts:The first chapter is the introduction of the paper.It mainly introduces the research background,purpose and significance,the domestic and foreign research,the main research content,method and the corresponding research framework.The second chapter is the theoretical analysis.It mainly discusses the development evolution and the dissemination of fengshui on the Korean Peninsula,explores the philosophical basis of the construction of fengshui theory,including the Yin-Yang theory,the Five Elements theory,the Qi theory and the Confucianism and Taoism theory,as well as briefly analyzes the fengshui schools and basic operation methods.Finally,it analyzes the spreading,and the local development of fengshui theory on the Korean Peninsula,in order to lay a theoretical foundation for the detailed research in the future.The third chapter is the core part.Through combining with the field research and literature review,it mainly conducts fengshui analysis of traditional dwellings space formations in the Chinese-Korean-inhabited areas of Yanbian,investigates the typicalKorean traditional dwellings,including Bailong Village,Shuinan Village in Tumen City and Changcai Village in Longjing City,as well as further makes fengshui analysis on the dwellings spatial formations and characteristics from the macro,meso and micro levels.The fourth chapter is the theoretical application and plan design.Based on the protection and renewal design of the fengshui concept on the typical Korean traditional dwellings,Changcai Village,as well as the systematic analysis of related problems,it further clarifies the basic ideas for the protection and renewal of Changcai Village,and builds the protection and updating design model from the overall planning layout of the dwellings,continuing of the tradition road pattern,optimization of the water system pattern,updating of traditional buildings,improvement of the space function,as well as the shape of landscape environment.Through the deep and systematic exploration of the environmental formation,spatial pattern and architectural characteristic of traditional Korean dwellings,the paper further reveals the fengshui cultural connotation,which can be of great significance for strengthening the protection of traditional dwellings heritage,promoting the trinity characteristic rural revitalization of the economic development,environmental improvement and culture inheritance among traditional dwellings in Korean-inhabited areas under the current space-time conditions.
