| In order to improve the living condition and get rid of poverty, the poor households installed solar-cell semiconductors which can convert sunlight directly into electricity through access of photovoltaic(PV)grid. As a clean and renewable energy source, solar PV can not only improve the living condition of the poor households, but also save energy and protect the environment. It is an important poverty alleviation measure for the targeted poverty alleviation period, which is of great significance for the realization of getting rid of poverty. However,in the process of literature and field research, this paper found that the behavior of the poor households are not always consistent with their intention in the participation of PV poverty alleviation project. Therefore,This paper conducts a household survey, basing on PV poverty alleviation project in G county,Jiang Xi province. In this study,210 impoverished households were selected from villages in G county by accidental sampling.Binary Logistic model is used to analyze the reasons for the difference between participation intention and behavior of poor households. This paper concludes that:(1)There is a significant difference between the intention and behavior of poor households to participate in poverty alleviation through PV.The intention is higher than the behavior, showing the status quo of high intention and low behavior.(2)The objective factors, such as the installation conditions and the poverty level of poor households, the subjective factors such as the attitude, the external environmental factors, such as the government’s policy implementation behavior, have significant negative effects on the difference between the intention and behavior of poor households to participate in PV poverty alleviation.(3)Different stages have different points. The intention formation stage is mainly affected by the subjective factors of the poor households, while the behavioral decision-making stage shifts its focus to the government’s behavior.According to the results, this paper starts from the subjective and objective factors of the behavior decision-making of the poor households and external environmental factors, and provides policy suggestions for improving the intention of the poor households to participate in poverty alleviation and the consistency of their behaviors. |
