A Study On Rhetorical Of Architectural Skin Design

The background of this thesis comes from three aspects,including people’s alert to the current weak aesthetic consciousness of architecture,the requirements of aesthetic modernity for the exchange of architectural concepts and meanings,and the attention to the trend of interdisciplinarity of current architectural design theories.Based on rhetoric theory as the intervention,especially in Mr Chen Wangdao rhetoric theory,It build the Rhetorical in this thesis that takes the skin of the old and new campus of Yunnan university as the research target on the basis of discussing the feasibility of the theory of architectural Rhetorical,capture the traces of Rhetorical in the design intention of university architectural skin,and to explore how to achieve the "communication" between the designer and the audience.Based on the time for clues,it through detailed analysis and summary of the different architectural figures of speech and spice explore the basic rule to verify and find the rhetorical inheritance and innovation of the new campus,to explain the relationship of the designer’s intention motive,the use of architectural Rhetorical and skin presentation.This thesis tries to summarize the inevitable law,positive and negative performance of the aesthetic appreciation of the architecture in the new campus of Yunnan university,and finally puts forward some architectural design strategies about the use of Rhetorical.The thesis focuses on four aspects: culture,technology,education system and distortion.The merit lies in the attention and the research attempt,and the establishment of a relatively full logic chain of intervention of language rhetoric in architecture,and the scientific research method through analyzing the appropriate architectural rhetoric expressions in historical timeline to demonstrate the inconsequence of new campus of Yunnan university.
