Research On Route Plan Evaluation Based On Simulation Chart Room

Route plan is an important skill that ship officers must obtain.The Maritime Safety Administration of People’s Republic of China(P.R.C MSA)have set the evaluation of route plan as one of the important evaluation items in the third officer competent examination,the purpose of which is to examine the ability of the assessed to correctly carry out the nautical charts and nautical publications correction and management,route plan,and to meet the requirements of the Manila Amendment to the STCW Convention and P.R.C MSA.At present,The route plan evaluation is mainly uses paper exam card,meanwhile the teacher marks the examination.In practice,there are many disadvantages in this method,especially the flexibility and success of the evaluation content,also the fairness of exam result.So this paper makes an intelligent research on route plan evaluation based on simulation chart room according to the project of "Construction of Intelligent Test Database for Route Plan" of China Maritime Service Center.Based on the original training and evaluation model of route plan,this paper studies the innovative teaching platform,training technology and evaluation model.The contents include:constructing simulation chart room as training and evaluation platform,using electronic nautical charts,nautical publications and drawing tools as data for training and evaluation,establishing scientific,reasonable and realizable intelligent evaluation method based on fuzzy theory.Finally,an intelligent evaluation system of route plan based on simulation chart room is realized.In the course,the training platform of route plan,the comprehensive test question editing platform and the intelligent evaluation test platform are constructed.In the new platform system,the editing of the comprehensive test questions is carried out,and the example operation demonstration and automatic scoring are carried out to verify the feasibility and rationality of the results.The realization of the route plan intelligent evaluation system based on the simulation chart room has certain application value to improve the training effect of the route plan and evaluate the fairness,and also has the realistic significance to improve the seafarer’s professional accomplishment and practical ability.It also promotes the construction of the intelligent examination system of the unified construction of China Maritime Service Center,and opens up new ideas and methods for the study of route plan and evaluation.
