With the rapid development of my country’s urbanization and the improvement of social and economic levels,a series of changes have taken place in the basic needs of the economy and society.Nowadays,the transformation of economic development mode and the promotion of the equalization of basic public service facilities are proceeding simultaneously.Educational facilities are an essential part of public service facilities.The first step to achieving equalization of public service facilities is to realize the urban and rural foundations.Equality of educational facilities.Due to the long-term urban-rural dual structure in my country,the current urban and rural basic education facilities are still facing problems such as insufficient total supply and uneven supply.The gap in the allocation of basic education facilities between urban and rural areas is also increasing.It is challenging to meet the needs of today’s society.Promoting educational equity is an integral part of achieving social equity.It is also an essential part of attaining urban and rural integrated development and promoting urban and rural development.Therefore,in promoting social equity,achieving scientific and reasonable equalization of urban and rural basic education facilities requires more in-depth research and discussion.This article takes the urban and rural basic education facilities in Weishan County as the research object based on the above background.The first is to sort out the related research progress and practical methods of equalizing basic education facilities at home and abroad,summarize the problems existing in the equalization of urban and rural basic education facilities and the corresponding optimization strategies,and provide a specific theoretical basis for the article.Secondly,to have a genuine and deeper understanding of the equalization development of Weishan County’s urban and rural basic education facilities,this paper analyzes the geographical location,urban development,economic development,and population status of Weishan County,and conducts relevant analysis through the field Surveys,interviews and other methods are used to conduct a comprehensive and multi-angle survey and research of the current urban and rural basic education facilities and the scale of construction to understand the overall situation of the urban and rural basic education facilities in Weishan County.At the same time,it comprehensively evaluates the equalization of urban and rural basic education facilities in Weishan County and summarizes the main issues from the two aspects of residents’ needs and configuration.Regarding the needs of residents,through questionnaire surveys,we can understand the satisfaction of urban and rural residents with the current educational facilities and related needs.In terms of configuration,it is evaluated and analyzed from two aspects of quality and distance,that is,taking the allocation of educational resources and the radius of school serves as the starting point,a comprehensive evaluation of the equalization of urban and rural basic education facilities in Weishan County.The allocation of educational resources mainly includes the land area per student and the allocation of teachers’ resources.Through the analysis of the hardware and software power of the educational facilities,the gap between the current basic education facilities and the existing problems are understood;the service radius is the standard service radius for the basic education facilities Conduct a comparative analysis with the actual service scope to determine the degree of the spatial coverage of the basic education facilities to urban and rural construction land,verify whether the service scope of each school meets the standard requirements,and then determine whether the current basic education facilities are distributed reasonably.Based on the evaluation of subjective satisfaction and objective facility allocation,summarize the main problems in the equalization of urban and rural basic education facilities in Weishan County.Finally,in response to the current situation,combined with the future urban development and construction direction of Weishan County,we propose a targeted and feasible strategy for the equalization and optimization of urban and rural basic education facilities from the planning and government levels,and determine the thousand-person indicators at different levels,Made a reasonable prediction of the scale of Weishan County’ s future education demand,provided a certain reference for the future planning and construction of Weishan County ’ s urban and rural basic education facilities,and further promoted the equalized development of Weishan County’s urban and rural basic education facilities.
