The construction industry has become one of the important pulling forces to drive the GDP of China,with the implementation of the construction project management system of construction enterprises in China,project management has become the foundation and core of the operation and management of construction enterprises,and the project management staff is the key to whether the construction enterprise can achieve the expected goals during the implementation of the project.It is also the backbone of the company to improve its competitiveness and achieve healthy,sustainable and stable development,their management level,technical strength,and work attitude directly affect the company’s further upgrade and development.In order to gain a foothold in the fierce market competition and meet the increasingly open market conditions,construction companies must strengthen the performance evaluation of project management personnel to fully mobilize their work initiative and sense of responsibility,and tap their potential work ability,and then contribute to enterprise development.As a result,the performance evaluation of project managers of construction enterprises has become a real problem that needs to be further studied and systematically solved.Based on this,this paper selects the project management personnel of A construction enterprise which is representative in the domestic construction industry as the research object,and discusses the problems and solutions in the performance evaluation of project managers under the overall background of the company’s overall strategic goals,in order to improve work efficiency and effectiveness,and help A construction enterprises achieve the "13th Five-Year" strategic goals.On the basis of systematically summarizing the relevant theories and methods of performance appraisal at home and abroad,and defining relevant concepts and theoretical basis,pointing out the main principles that should be grasped in the design and implementation of its performance appraisal system,the paper used literature review and statistical analysis,Case analysis method and questionnaire survey,comprehensive and indepth analysis and diagnosis of the status of performance evaluation of project management personnel in A construction companies,and pointed out that its main problems include unreasonable design of performance evaluation indicators,inappropriate selection of performance evaluation methods,lack of The effective performance feedback mechanism and the insufficient application of performance assessment results,and further digging out the reasons for these problems mainly include the lack of professionals to design assessment indicators,the uncertainty of project business leads to incorrect selection of assessment methods,and the comp-any’s internal communication mechanism unsound and management personnel do not attach importance to performance evaluation.Then this paper combined with the typical performance evaluation methods such as key performance indicator(KPI)and balanced scorecard(BSC),a series of measures such as improved performance evaluation system,performance evaluation implementation and performance evaluation implementation guarantee for project management personnel of A construction enterprises were proposed.Specifically,this paper designed the key performance indicator system of project management personnel of company A,with a view to solving the specific performance evaluation problems of current project management personnel.This article proposes an improvement plan based on the existing performance evaluation system of project management personnel of A construction companies.The improvement of performance evaluation problems is the key.Finally,a relatively complete and suitable performance evaluation index system for project management personnel is established in this paper.This has a certain reference for other construction companies to improve the performance assessment methods of project managers.
