With the continuous progress of economic development and technology,people’s demand for all aspects of life has also increased.Functional asphalt mixtures with environmental protection functions such as water permeability,noise reduction,low heat absorption,and reduction of automobile exhaust pollution have been widely used.Aiming at the characteristics of the large void-skeleton structure of the functional asphalt mixture,and taking the functional indexes and mechanical indexes of the asphalt mixture as the evaluation indexes,a two-graded functional asphalt mixture is designed.Under the premise of not affecting the functional indexes of the functional asphalt mixture,better mechanical indexes can be obtained to achieve the purpose of extending the service life of the functional asphalt pavement.By designing two-graded functional asphalt mixtures with different volume ratios to test their mechanical indexes and functional characteristics,the specific conditions of AC asphalt mixture’s improvement of the two-graded functional asphalt mixture’s mechanical indexes and the attenuation of functional characteristics are obtained..On the other hand,analyzing the meso characteristics of the two-graded functional asphalt mixture and linking the meso-structure with the macro performance is more conducive to exploring the formation mechanism of the strength and functional characteristics of the two-graded functional asphalt mixture.Influencing factors,explore the possibility of its application on the road.The research results show that the two-graded functional asphalt mixture specimens with different volume ratios show significant differences in mechanical indicators and functional characteristics due to the different volume ratios occupied by AC asphalt mixture and OGFC asphalt mixture.Among the two-graded functional asphalt mixtures,AC asphalt mixtures have little effect on high temperature stability.The greater the proportion of AC asphalt mixture,the better the overall mechanical index of the specimen.On the contrary,the more AC asphalt mixture takes up the proportion,the more obvious the attenuation of the functional characteristics of the test piece is,but it can still meet the requirements of functional asphalt mixture in terms of drainage and noise reduction.The meso-feature analysis also verified the macro test,the lower AC-13 can provide certain strength support under load,and obtain better mechanical properties.The difference in the proportion of OGFC-13 also makes it have different void structures,which makes the functional properties of two-graded functional asphalt mixtures with different volume ratios slightly different.
