| In recent years,the prestressed concrete composite box-girder bridge with the corrugated steel web(short for PC bridge with the corrugated steel web)is widely used in China,which has many advantages,such as the relatively light weight of the structure,the good spanning capacity,and the ability to solve the cracking of the traditional concrete web.Shear connector is the critical stressed part of the composite structure.Because of the high shear stiffness and shear bearing capacity,the embedded shear connector with flange can be applied to the PC bridge with the corrugated steel web.However,there are still some problems in the research of the connector.The steel consumption of the shear connector is large.The existing calculation formula of the bearing capacity of the embedded connector with flange is only a simple modified formula based on the calculation formula of the embedded connector.When the thickness of flange is small,the local instability is the main reason for the failure of the connector,which leads to the early failure of the shear connector.Based on the push-out test of the bridge of the Jialu river,this paper further analyzes the shear performance of the embedded shear connector with flange by ABAQUS finite element analysis software,and optimizes the steel consumption of the existing connection.The main research results are as follows.(1)The shear capacity of the embedded shear connector with flange is mainly borne by the concrete dowel,the through reinforcement and the concrete key.The strength grade of concrete,the diameter of through reinforcement,the diameter of the hole of the web,the embedding depth and the height of the corrugated web are the main factors of the bearing capacity of the connector.(2)For the embedded connector with flange,the shear capacity is mainly provided by the concrete dowel and the through reinforcement in the straight section of the corrugated steel web.While in the other section,the shear capacity is mainly provided by the concrete key.Through the linear regression of the results of the finite element analysis,the shear bearing capacity calculation formula with clear physical meaning and high calculation accuracy is proposed,which can be used for the design and calculation of the embedded connector with flange.(3)The flange with small thickness can be selected for stud welding in the area where the width-to-thickness ratios exceeds the limit.The shear bearing capacity of the connector is inversely proportional to the embedded depth of the web.The effect of combined reinforcement on the shear performance of the connector can be ignored.Therefore,the steel consumption of the connector can be optimized from the two aspects. |
