In recent years, the prestressed concrete composite box-girder bridge with corrugated steel web has become popular, which has many advantages, such as beautiful shape, lighter weight, good economic and so on. The theoretical research of this kind bridge has been done widely in domestic, and the connection between the corrugated steel web and top-and-bottom concrete board is one of the key problems. PBL shear connectors are used by this kind bridge widely, because it has the characteristic of large shear stiffness, good ductility and so on. However the bearing capacity formulas of the connector are various and have larger difference, because different researchers always tended to study the bearing capacity of the connector under the effect of the single factor or made less experimental group. This paper based on the experiment of the PBL shear connectors of the Xiao Shagou bridge to study the mechanical property of the PBL shear connectors. The paper used the finite element method to set many influence factors, and acquired the bearing capacity calculation formula of the shear connector by the statistics of the results. The main research content was as follows:(1) The ways of the shear connectors were known by collecting the information of the same type built bridges, and basing on the design of the shear connector of the small sand ditch bridge, the test scheme was established and the test model was designed.(2) The test model was built by using the finite element software ANSYS, and the accuracy of the calculations was verified by comparing with the existing test results.(3) The PBL shear connector with or without through reinforcement was calculated respectively, and the failure mechanism of these two kinds of shear connectors were expounded. Basing on the parametric setting, the paper studied the influence in detail that the concrete strength, the diameters of steel plate and through reinforcement and so on affected the bearing capacity of the shear connectors, meanwhile it analyzed the influence of various factors on the internal force distribution and redistribution of the PBL shear connectors to get the corresponding results.(4) Considering various factors that had significant effects on the bearing capacity of the PBL shear connectors, a total of131groups of models about two kinds of connectors were established to calculate, and through the statistics of the results, the bearing capacity calculation formula that considered multi-factors changing at the same time was fitted out. Meanwhile the obtained formula was used to calculate the experiment value of other researchers, and contrasting the value with the test results and the value that was calculated by the formula of other researchers, the formula of this paper was proved.
