The Study On The Space Layout And Function Replacement In The Renovation Of Ancient Houses In Huizhou

It has been hundreds of years since the houses with features of Huizhou appeared.All these ancient houses are treasures left by the ancestors for future generations.With the gradual modernization of life and the rapid development of urbanization,people’s requirements for the quality of life continue to increase.Under this circumstance,the residential functions of ancient houses can no longer meet the needs of modern people.Therefore,the abandonment of ancient houses has become a common phenomenon.At present,both the neglect of protection and the restriction of financial situation have brought contradictions to the protection and renovation of ancient houses in Huizhou.In the research on the methods of renovation and protection of these houses,this thesis will focus on the renovation of ancient houses from the perspective of adjusting the external space layout of the building and replacing the internal functions of the building;it will also combine the field survey,literature research,questionnaire,residential interview,chart analysis and other related research methods to screen protection methods based on the preservation status of ancient houses in Huizhou.This thesis also intends to combine these methods of renovation and protection of ancient houses with the actual cases,trying to find and solve the problems,and summarize from the shallower to the deeper how to deal with the new problems arising from the replacement of the internal functions,and how to make reasonable layout adjustments of the external space to protect and continue these ancient houses in Huizhou.The research in this thesis will be implemented in the entire process of protection and renovation of the "Wuhengtang" in Pingshan Village,Yixian County.During this period,it is necessary to measure the data with a rigorous scientific attitude and finally draw conclusions.
