Assessment On Recreational Value Of Dianchi Lakeside Wetland Park Based On Travel Cost Method

Human activities seriously threaten the ecological resources in scenic spots.How to estimate the environmental value of resources is very crucial for protecting ecological resources and tourism resources.The construction of Dianchi Lakeside Wetland Park plays an important role in the sustainable development of Dianchi lake ecosystem.It is of great significance and practical value to estimate the recreational value of Dianchi Lakeside Wetland Park.In this study,Laoyu River,Haidong,Haigeng,Dongda River,Xihua and Gudian Boutique Wetland Parks on the Dianchi lakeside were selected as the research objects.From November 2018 to October2019,and the number of tourists of six wetland parks was estimated by the sample line method.The travel cost interval analysis（TCIA）method of travel cost method（TCM）was used to estimate their recreational value,this paper collected relevant data through questionnaire survey,and used cubic function to fit the demand curve of tourists’ travel intention,and estimated tourists’ consumer surplus.The summation of travel cost,time opportunity cost and consumer surplus obtained from statistical analysis was the recreational value of wetland parks,contingent valuation method（CVM）was used to estimate the recreational value of six wetland parks,and the evaluation results of CVM and TCIA were compared,and used binary logistic regression model to analyze the factors influencing tourists’ willingness to pay（WTP）.The main results are as follows.（1）The total number of tourists in Laoyu River,Haidong,Haigeng,Dongda River,Xihua and Gudian Boutique Wetland Park estimated by the spline method was 227886,355434,677728,45185,34811 and 1452063 respectively;（2）TCM evaluation results show that the total WTP values of Laoyu River,Haidong,Haigeng,Dongda River,Xihua and Gudian Boutique Wetland Parks evaluated by TCIA were 43.49 million yuan,47.64 million yuan,113.88 million yuan,7.21 million yuan,4.54 million yuan and 546.40 million yuan respectively,and the total recreational value of six wetland parks was 763 million yuan;（3）The factors influencing the WTP of visitors in wetland parks were gender,education level,monthly income,satisfaction of flowers and trees and satisfaction of service facilities,There is a significant positive correlation between each factor and WTP;（4）According recreational value of Dianchi Lakeside Wetland Park estimated by TCM,the highest recreational value was the Gudian Boutique Wetland Park,and the lowest was Xihua Wetland Park.The wetland park is based on the management mode dominated by company operation has beautiful scenery,perfect service facilities and high management intensity,it has high recreational value.The wetland park is based on the management mode dominated by the government has unsightly scenery,lack of service facilities and low management intensity,it has recreational value.Wetland park should choose appropriate management mode,strengthen management intensity and improve service facilities to increase the number of tourists and recreational value of Wetland park.
