Study On Cave-landscaping Art Of West Lake Scenic Area In Hangzhou

West Lake cave is rooted in Hangzhou’s unique natural conditions and long history of cultural heritage,is a collection of nature and humanities as one of the cultural landscape.As an important part of the cultural landscape of West Lake,it witnessed the rise and fall of West Lake,and realized the transformation of natural cave from nature to humanity with the participation of human activities.However,most of them are attached to the existence of scenic spots,their influence and importance are far less than other landscape resources,and there is little systematic research on the cave landscape of West Lake.This article takes Hangzhou West Lake scenic spot as the core city suburb area cave view as the research object.Based on the literature,this paper analyzes the formation of the cave landscape of West Lake.In the aspect of natural formation,the cave landscape of West Lake is influenced by Hangzhou’s natural environment,climatic conditions and geological action;and in the aspect of ideology and culture,the cave landscape of West Lake is mainly influenced by the thoughts of cave dwelling culture,mountain worship,cave heaven and earth,recluse culture and so on.It is in the combination of natural and humanistic elements that the cave can become a "poetic landscape ".Combined with field investigation,53 caves landscape with important landscape value and humanistic value in West Lake mountains are sorted out,and the types of the cave landscape of West Lake are analyzed from many angles,and the main characteristics of the cave landscape of West Lake are summarized.Based on the background of the times and historical records,this paper combs and analyzes the historical changes of the cave landscape of West Lake,and finds that the cave landscape of West Lake is accompanied by the rise and fall of West Lake.Through the cave landscape with historical remains or cultural images,this paper analyzes its historical features and characteristics of the times,and sums up four important factors of change: religious activities,garden construction,historical figures and cave aesthetic orientation.From the formation and change of the cave landscape of West Lake,it also reflects the change of the relationship between man and cave through the four stages of "seeking shelter,searching for beauty,transforming utilization and protecting development ".In order to explore the landscaping art of West Lake caves,this paper analyzes the landscape characteristics and cultural characteristics of West Lake caves,selects the typical cave landscape to dig deeply,and studies its inner landscape construction wisdom from a case study.In addition,from the natural caves as the blueprint of the garden stacked cave activities,explore the natural caves and rockery caves interior relationship.Therefore,four important regional features in the cave landscape of West Lake are summarized,namely,the unique landscape form,the cultural connotation of a long history,the cave landscape of man and heaven,and the landscape characteristics of the combination of literary scenery.Based on the above research,the value and significance of the cave landscape of West Lake are obtained.Combing the renovation of the cave landscape of West Lake in modern times and the major events related to the cave landscape,aiming at the problems and difficulties faced by the cave landscape of West Lake,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the protection and utilization of the cave Landscape of West Lake,in order to draw lessons from the protection of the cave landscape of West Lake in the future.
