The hump reducer is an important part of the vehicle marshalling station.But the existing speed reducer is an automatic clamp-type speed reducer that was invented by the United States in 1924 and improved by China.With the maturity of China’s technology,the drawbacks have gradually revealed.In order to strengthen the transportation capacity of my country’s marshalling station,consider its special application occasions and complex driving conditions when vehicles are running at high speed,combined with the traditional use of air and hydraulic power to achieve the braking effect,this paper proposes a vehicle rim vortex The retarder improves the braking effect of the vehicle when it goes downhill for a long distance.The paper mainly includes:First of all,the research is briefly introduced the status of eddy current retarder at home and abroad,and the deficiencies such as large volume,complex structure,large running wear,harsh noise,environmental pollution and poor decelerating safety of current clamping reducer in China are summarized and analyzed.According to the design requirements of vehicle structure and performance,reference is made to a large number of literatures on vehicle braking,especially the traditional mechanical braking mode and auxiliary braking mode under long slope and other conditions.Comparative analysis of several types of vehicles auxiliary braking mode,detailed analysis of various adverse factors.Secondly,analyze the braking force of the eddy current retarder to obtain the factors affecting the braking force,consult the existing hump deceleration system data to design the retarder structure scheme,establish the vortex retarder model,and design the vehicle wheel flange The retarder controller,through simulation analysis and experimental verification,shows that the set controller is reasonable,and can achieve obvious instant braking when the vehicle speed is above 40km/h,and the wheel flange has good heat dissipation under normal driving conditions.As long as the vehicle speed drops below 40km/h,traditional braking can be used to slow down and stop large trucks,such as air or hydraulic braking.Finally,The finite element analysis,electromagnetic field and temperature field simulation of the designed eddy current retarder model is carried out by maxwell software.The retarding device designed on the original basis can effectively improve the braking performance of the vehicle,achieving the effects of saving basic braking,reducing wear and extending its service life. |
