Research On The Conceptual Design Of Narrative Exhibition Of Egyptian Pavilion At Dubai World Expo

With the arrival of the Dubai World Expo in 2020,the exhibition design of the World Expo has once again become a new design hotspot.The theme of the Dubai World Expo is "Communicate Thoughts and Create the Future",and there are three core sub-theme exhibition areas-"Opportunity,Flow and Sustainability".The exhibition design of the World Expo is centered on the theme of the World Expo.The culture of the participating countries is the design feature,and innovative technology and materials are the design highlights.The exchanges between the participating countries are strengthened to ensure economic development.The exhibition concept design of the Egyptian National Pavilion should take the theme of the Expo as the core clue,and take cultural elements as the keynote.The exhibition of the National Pavilion should be used to express the achievements of Egypt in the social,economic,cultural and scientific fields,and through narrative exhibition The design method effectively conveyed information to the participants,aroused emotional resonance,and strengthened the participants’ awareness and understanding of Egypt.This article mainly studies the application of narrative design techniques in the exhibition concept design of the Egyptian Pavilion of the World Expo.By summarizing the development of exhibition concept design and related theoretical concepts of narrative design techniques in the National Pavilion of the Expo,the narrative theory is combined with the exhibition space design of the Egyptian Pavilion.This article analyzes the narrative attributes of the exhibition space design of the Egyptian Pavilion from the three aspects of exhibition content design,exhibition space structure construction process and exhibition atmosphere shaping.On this basis,to tell the story of the Egyptian National Museum-select the design theme-determine the narrative clues-arrange the narrative outline-construct the concrete form of the space-atmosphere rendering,and propose anintegration based on the design focus of the Egyptian Museum The construction method of narrative exhibition space: based on the exhibition space structure formed by the narrative structure,deconstructing the space from the four levels of point,line,surface,and body;perfecting the narrative frame from narrative section to narrative content;The main narrative techniques are used to construct the space;the metaphor,exaggeration,symbol and other rhetorical techniques are used to achieve the expected space atmosphere effect of the narrative exhibition design,thereby highlighting the national image of Egypt in the numerous exhibition spaces of the World Expo and strengthening the propaganda of special culture of Egypt.
