| With the end of the era of large-scale expansion of college enrollment at the end of the last century,Chinese colleges and universities have ushered in the transition to highquality development in the new era.In recent years, with the development of my country’s higher education level, new teaching and scientific research models have continuously emerged, and experimental equipment has been continuously upgraded,so that many existing building spaces in universities with a single function gradually cannot meet new use needs. In addition, some buildings that were completed earlier are facing problems of aging performance and obsolete equipment. In this context, the importance of the renewal and transformation of existing buildings in universities has become increasingly prominent-it can not only continue the university’s cultural heritage, protect the historical heritage of the university, but also make full use of existing resources to achieve sustainable development.Compared with commercial public building renovation projects dominated by market demand, the particularity of university buildings is that their renovation is more derived from endogenous functional needs, and due to the diversity of building types and functional needs,it is worthwhile to treat this special type The renewal and transformation of the building are carried out targeted research. This paper takes the representative existing public buildings in colleges and universities as the research object, and adopts research methods such as theoretical combing, field investigation, and case studies. In the theoretical part, the thesis expounds the basic theories of this topic-building protection theory, sustainable development theory, and the rise and development of post-modern architectural theory,so as to explore the practical significance of college building renovation and the theoretical basis of renovation strategies and technical approaches. In order to have a deeper understanding of the current status of existing public buildings in my country’s universities, the thesis then selects existing public buildings in the old campus of Chongqing University as the research object, and sorts out the current characteristics and types of renovations through data retrieval, field investigation, and statistical information recording.Through the investigation,we have summarized the following common types of renovation and renovation-context protection, internal performance improvement, space expansion, function replacement, and other new functions, ecological energy saving and other development needs, and carried out an in-depth study of the characteristics of each type analysis. Then,on the basis of research and analysis conclusions, the thesis selects the excellent reform cases in domestic universities for in-depth research on the several types of reforms proposed in the previous article.Focus on analyzing the problems and core transformation strategies it faces. In the core part of the thesis,a systematic summary and analysis of the strategies and technical approaches for the renewal and renovation of existing public buildings in colleges and universities are carried out from the aspects of function replacement, space expansion, context protection and form reconstruction, and performance improvement.Discourse.Finally,an empirical study is carried out with the renewal and renovation project of the Science Building Laboratory of Chongqing University in which the author participated. It fully presents the contradiction limitation and resolution process in the spatial reorganization involving architectural functions, experimental equipment, and architectural environment.Through the intervention of the whole process of practice, explore how to find a feasible path from the limitation and the final realization process. At present, the renovation of existing public buildings in universities in our country is in full swing, and it is hoped that the technical strategy of renovation and renovation proposed in this article can be helpful to related renovation practices. |
